"Wow!" Sky gaped in awe. "This is really magnificent."
"It is!" Felix said. His face was nothing different from Sky's. They both had wide admiring eyes.
"We're not here for sightseeing." Seungmin rolled his eyes.
"And that doesn't make any sense." Dabi huffed. "What the hell are we doing in a sightseeing spot if we are not here for sightseeing?"
"Because this is a freaking volcanic cave!" Chan growled. He was already irritated and if it wasn't for Alana holding his hand all time, he could've lashed out already.
It's been hours since they left the mansion and headed to the caves' area, expecting to find a clue, but they found nothing. There were only those beautiful caves and many tourists visiting them.
"Still nothing?" Chris asked Ana who was checking her compass.
"Nothing." She sighed, dropping her shoulders. "It's going everywhere and never stopping."
"Let's head out then." Lino said. "This place is suffocating. It's dark and humid."
"It's a cave!" Seungmin rolled his eyes again.
Lino didn't reply. He learned not to reply to Seungmin if he wanted to keep himself composed. Lino just brushed it off and started walking to the exit, leaving them behind as he was starting to get difficulty in breathing.
"Let's go back." Jisung said and pulled the pouting Ana with him.
One by one, they started heading back to the exit of the cave to leave it. They'd been visiting those caves all day that they were dead tired and fed up with the darkness and steepness. Minho was as tired and discouraged as them. He was hoping that they would find a clue. They all just flew to Jeju without a plan and without knowing if it would work out, but they were hoping anyway.
Walking slowly with obvious defeat, Minho sighed loudly. His friends were all ahead of him and he was just following soullessly.
"Hey," Someone talked from his side, making him jolt.
He looked to his right to find who he already expected. He recognized the voice at once but he was just taken aback by why she would talk to him. "H-Hi." He talked hesitantly.
"Umm, this is the first time we talk, I guess." Mia said, keeping her kind loving smile ever.
"Yes." He replied shortly and roughly.
"I'm sorry." She suddenly apologized.
That apology took Minho by surprise. "What? Why?"
"For all you had to go through because of what Lino and the guys did." Her smile wasn't there and instead, there was unexplained guilt.
Minho's steps halted, making Mia stop in her tracks too. "Why are apologizing for what he did?"
"Cause I have nothing else to do! I'm useless here." She shrugged helplessly. "I'm not having some superpower like him and his friends, and I'm not as courageous as you and your friends who are sparing no efforts in saving the world when you didn't even do anything wrong."
"And you didn't do anything wrong apologize!"
"Then, I guess that's because of him." She gave him a broken smile. "Since it's his guilt, I feel like it's mine too. I can't help it. I feel the responsibility of carrying it with him."
Minho scoffed and resumed walking. "Typically soulmates."
"Maybe." She chuckled and resumed walking too. "And maybe I really just love him."
