Steven let out a dreamy sigh and fell onto his bed. His mind was swimming with thoughts of you. He really asked you on a date, and you said yes. All he could do was smile. He smiled the whole car ride home.
Steven sat up, and his smile dropped. He glanced around the room as if someone would be there watching. Then he stood and lifted his mattress. Under his mattress was the item you forgot, your underwear. He let out a relief filled sigh. He was honestly worried Pearl would find them and wash... them. Oh my God, Steven, what is wrong with me? He thought.
It's not like he wanted to smell them. Of course he doesn't, he should return them to you. God, this is so wrong, he told himself. He placed them back under and then laid back down. He thought about you and the conversation you had in your house.
He thought about how he kissed you, and you looked almost disappointed afterward. Had he done something wrong, did his breath stink? Steven pondered. He couldn't quite figure out what could've made you so upset. He'll ask you, he decided, tomorrow.
