Y/N gave out a shaky, thin laugh in response to the unexpected invitation. Why is Wally so eager to bring them home? Y/N first assumed that he would have no idea how he got himself here, in the real world, in the first place. He looked to be putting up a front now, and the longer Y/N didn't respond to him, the tighter his grasp on their hand became. "I think you'll have a great time, Neighbor; perhaps I can show you around! Of course, with the others there.." Wally exclaimed, a big smile on his face. "Please. You will come with me, won't you?" He said, with a tinge of pleading, although his voice seemed distorted in some way.

Y/N has two options: join him or don't join him. Some inner voices told them to go for it since it may be exciting, while others advised them to stay put and be lonely. Y/N winced a little as their hand began to ache from Wally's grip, and they finally answered just to be freed. "Okay! Okay! I'll come pay a visit." With that response, Wally let go of Y/N's hand, and his face lit up with genuine excitement. "Yay! Our treasured neighbor will be joining us soon. I can't wait!~" Wally turned around and walked out of Y/N's bedroom, delighted. Y/N stood there, shocked by the change in his demeanor, holding their throbbing hand close to their chest. Mans really squeezed the lights out of their hand just to get a yes.

Y/N let out a heavy sigh, losing the drive to finish their laundry. They walked around the bed, collecting the pile of clothing they had left and dumping the remainder in the basket, which they later stowed in the closet. Y/N shut the closet doors and moved over to the dresser to turn off the speaker. Y/N massaged their hand lightly before having a seat on their bed and thought about all possibilities when going to Wally's world. If Y/N went, how would they get out, and would the other neighbors be there as he said? There were so many questions, but they'd just have to find out. Y/N wanted to prepare themselves before leaving, as they weren't told when they had to go and needed to find wherever Wally wandered off to.

Y/N got out of bed and walked out of their bedroom door into the short hallway where they halt in the living room to look around. No Wally here. Y/N walked over to the kitchen, first checked the cabinets, then the floor, to see if Wally was there. Nada. Where had Wally gone? As Y/N walked back into the living room, a light hum of static could be heard. Y/N moved her gaze to the flat screen TV on a table, which had all of their little photo frames and trinkets. That's odd.

Y/N does not recall leaving the TV on, and even if they did, there would be no static because they had paid the cable bill. Something strange had to be going on. As Y/N approached the TV, they hit the back of it a couple of times to see if the static would clear up and reveal a clearer screen. That didn't make help much, but Y/N began to notice something. The more they tapped the back of the TV and peered at the static, the more she noticed something moving amid it, as if someone was strolling and holding something in their hand. Y/N didn't want to wait any longer, so they gave the TV one big tap and were faced with a clear image of a room that was quite dark but the only stop lit up was a lone table that had a big bouquet of roses sitting on it.

The roses appeared to be freshly picked, bright, and expertly wrapped with a beautiful red bow in the center. To be safe, Y/N stood a decent distance away from the TV and peered curiously at the screen. Nothing happened for a few minutes until Y/N had to blink, but when they opened their eyes, they saw the arrangement of roses now had a note card with the words 'For You' written on it. This puzzled them; perhaps this was a new channel for them to investigate. There was no sound, and it was just a single bouquet on a table. However, something began to change; the screen appeared to slowly move away from the table, and the table appeared to be in the center of the room now with the spot light still shining down at it.

Abruptly, a hand began to emerge from behind the flowers and gently pick up the bouquet. Y/N recognized the hand; the yellowness, smoothness, and softly fluffed hand reminded them of Wally. Is it possible that Wally got stuck in the TV? The hand and bouquet retreated into the darkness, but this time, faint footfall can be heard reverberating about as if the place they were in was quite huge. It was just footsteps, but the only thing Y/N saw on the screen was the table with the note card 'For You' written on it. Y/N let out a sigh, about to switch off the TV, when the focus seemed to shift over to a silhouette, now standing in front of a window with the bouquet in their arms. There was more light this time, and it seemed to be Wally, but in different attire than his usual. He seemed more..Red?

Y/N raised an eyebrow at this, thinking that the colors on the TV were off and that they needed to fix them in the settings. Everything was calibrated appropriately after Y/N quickly verified the settings. Y/N slowly placed the remote on the couch, keeping their gaze on the TV as Wally appeared to be looking out the window. Perhaps asking him how he ended up in the TV in the first place is a good idea, but how can he hear Y/N in a TV? "Um..Wally, how did you end up in there?" Y/N asked the screen, hoping for some form of response. Nothing happened. So Y/N tried again, but this time they took a different approach. "..Why are you home?" For some reason, this response seem to catch their attention and Y/N watch their head slowly around to the screen but what they saw definitely gave them a surprise.

This did not appear to be Wally. They had a much redder color scheme; their hair was red in a pompadour with a small heart shape, their eyes were like stars, and their garments had a different accent than blue. They had the same warm grin as Wally, as if they were a different version of him. "..I'm so happy to see you, Y/N." Wally's alternate version stated softly, turning fully around to face the TV with the bouquet in hand. The light emitted behind him created the illusion of a brilliant glow surrounding him. Y/N was surprised, yet unsure about this Wally. "..You know who I am?" Y/N inquired, understanding that it may be a silly question to ask. "Of course. I was told about you, I am so excited to be with you.." Wally's alternate version replied, keeping their eyes widen and staring intently at Y/N.

Y/N was beginning to doubt their words. What does he mean when he says he was 'told about you'? Could this, after all, not be the genuine Wally? "What do you mean by that?..Who are you exactly?" Y/N inquired, moving closer to the screen, and as they did so, the screen seemed to move closer to this parallel form of Wally in order to enchant Y/N in their trance. "You've known me your entire life. I'm—" The TV abruptly turned off before he could finish his sentence, causing Y/N to blink back into reality. They turned around to see the original Wally standing there, holding the remote and pointing at the TV. He tossed the remote back on the couch with a modest grimace of anxiety. Y/N was knelt down in front of the TV, and didn't expect to see Wally here—the real one.

Wally had a slight perspiration on his forehead, as if they had noticed what was going on as well. He faced Y/N and moved over to them, giving them an awkward hug. Y/N were still in a state of confusion, but they hugged Wally back. Wally leaned over Y/N's shoulder, staring at the TV screen as if something was looking back at him. Y/N gently patted Wally's back to calm him if he was worried or scared, but little did Y/N know, this wouldn't be as simple as they imagined.
