Splashes of indigo
colour the hayCrocuses pop up
in the month of MayThey wave the winter's
snow goodbyeThey welcome the spring's
sun in the sky so highSoon the world
will wake up
from her slumber so long,Soon the warmth
will welcome her homeSo let her sleep
for one more
lonely night,So we can
party together
in the spring's
first lightAnd enjoy the comfort
of its gentle warmthAs the birds fly back
to their nests in the NorthLet the world wake up
for another year,Let her embrace Life,
so blissfully dear***
