Who Else Needs a Drink?

I scratched the back of your head to put you to sleep. You put your arms around my hip. Few moments later, you turned your back. Caring for what seems to be perfect but baby this isn't a movie. I went to the kitchen bar and poured alcohol on the glass. I need this drink I must say.

Past midnight when I screamed I missed you. You're beside me watching on Youtube but it seems you hear nothing. I clung to your lips yet you looked away. It was the day after when last night cold lasts, daylight but I see champagne on the glass cabinet. Grabbed and drank it.

Your indiscretions are flawless like you being around me careless. I was never a price you'll cheat to win. Never the one to be understood when I'm having the other side of the game. Who else needs a drink if I could pour your lies, excuses and promises through my vein?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Some things never change. Some things let time pass by so we can get used to. Who else needs a drink when I could drink all of you? Bitter, nuts, more buts. Fuck off. Hats off, you made a drunk out of sober thoughts.
