Glimpse of Beginning

I stared at the ceiling - it was placid, plain and innocent.

I drew strokes of crimson hope and strings of enchanment leading to where my heart belongs.

Flaring meet ups, bubbly dates, tied with unbreakable kiss.

Spent hours where I don't wanna miss.

Why everything seems perfect at first?

Unfolding, turning pages of this quite mess.

Standing alone on the edge, chasing the warmth in the cold breeze.

Took out my hands from my pocket and put it in my chest.

Heart's throbbing.

Running around its rhythm.

Crestfallen, you came empty-handed only with my heart on your locket.

Bleeding.

Patches on the hole.

How could you hold a heart that's not whole?

Jumped off to the cliff, free falling.

I thought I snatched your heart too but looks like you've got two.

And I was all alone with the memories when I hit the ground.

You forgot to take the fall but you got my heart in whole.

Then snapped.

In a blink of an eye, i was still staring in the ceiling - wishing everything is always a beginning.
