Chapter 2

Two weeks later

I had been texting Sam for the last two weeks but it was finally the night I was going to actually hang out with him and I was super nervous.

"Jade are you sure you want to go out with Sam tonight?" Jesy asked sitting on my bed watching me put on my make-up

"I'll be fine seriously" I forced a smile looking in the mirror

"If you're just going out with him because you feel bad for running out, you know you don't have to" she explained as Perrie walked into the room

"Baba you sure you'll be okay tonight?" Perrie asked concerned

"Seriously girls I'm fine I can't stay in bed and cry for ages and live in the past" I explained

"Jason hurt you though" Leigh said jumping into the conversation

"Don't mention his name Leigh" I turned to face the girls

"Jadey we want you to be happy" they all said together

"I know you do and maybe Sam is the answer to moving on"

"Don't you use him or hurt him, I've know him as long as I've known Jordan and he is a really sweet guy" Jesy explained before standing up

"I won't! who do you think I am?" I said growing a little annoyed I'd never use a guy especially Sam.

"Sometimes I don't know? You acted shy and cute little Jade most of the time but ever since Ja- you know who you sometimes act weird and not you. like the other night, you were shy then happy, then rude and finally an emotional wreck" she took a step closer to me

"You tell me how you'd deal with what I did and still act normal? Huh?" I felt my eyes feel with tears, Jesy took another step towards me and wrapped her arms around me as perrie and Leigh joined in

"Just be careful, have fun tonight and just get to know him okay" Jesy whispered before we all separated

"Good lucky baba" perrie smiled

"Jade I love you be safe" Jesy smiled also

"Just be the beautiful Jade Thirlwall you are" Leigh finally added

Before I knew it I heard a car horn Sam was waiting outside

"Well this is it" I smiled turning to the girls "do I look okay?" I asked

"Yes beautiful now go on go have fun" Leigh smiled as I grabbed my handbag and phone and raced down stairs and out the door I slowly made my way to Sam who was standing next to his car

"Wow Jade you look um wow" he smiled from ear to ear

"Thanks" I smiled back tucking a piece of hair behind my ear

"Shall we go?" He asked holding out his hand

"I guess so" I didn't take his hand I just walked to the passenger side of the car and hopped in I looked back at our apartment where the girls were staring out the window making sure I was okay.

"So um where are we going?" I asked turning my attention to Sam

"I thought I'd take you bowling" he explained as he began to drive

"I love bowling" I giggled clapping my hands

"Perfect" he smiled at me before looking back at the road maybe tonight wasn't going to be that bad

The whole car ride was awkward I was still trying to figure Jade out she wasn't like other girls I dated and I liked that the most.
