Chapter 22

Jesy's POV

I raced into the hospital emergency department to see Jade and Sam's parents sitting together

"Norma" I shouted as I raced over to her

"Jesy, thank you for coming" Norma said embracing me in a hug

"Any news yet?" I asked panicked not knowing if either of them were going to make it

"Nothing I'm afraid" I heard Norma beginning to sob into my shoulder so I pulled her closer to me

"She is strong she will pull through" I rubbed her back trying to comfort her

"I can't lose my beautiful girl" she continued to sob as I squeezed her tighter it was breaking my heart and knowing there was nothing I could say or do to help

I slowly pulled back and wiped my own eyes as I looked at Norma before turning to Sam's mum and quickly embracing her in a hug just as the tears were about to fall from her eyes.

"Sam can pull through this I just know he can" I tried to ease her pain just a little but nothing anyone said other than they will be okay was going to make things better.

"Mr and Mrs Thirlwall?" someone called causing me to pull back from Sam's mum and look towards the doctor

"That's us" Norma said standing up followed by Jade's dad "please tell us some good news"

"I wish I could give you better news but at this stage your daughter has lost a lot of blood and has sustained internal bleeding" he paused before continuing "she hit her head quite severely in the crash which has caused brain swelling therefore we have had to put her in an induced coma. We have stopped the internal bleeding however at this stage there is little more we can do until she wakes up, if she wakes up." He finally said letting out a sigh, you could see the sorrow in his eyes

"What do you mean if? She will wake up please tell me she will" Norma's tears began to flow freely from eyes again I grabbed her quickly pulling her into my arms I couldn't believe this was happening, we can't lose Jade, she was always there for me when I needed her even from xfactor days to now nothing has changed.

"What about my boy?" Sam's mum asked stepping closer to the doctor

"Seeing as your son was driving the car at the time of the accident he was able to turn the car in a way that saw him sustain less injuries he has had his appendix and spleen removed as they both were heavily injured" he paused again "he has also damaged his shoulder but we were able to fix it in surgery, he is sleeping at this point" he explained before turning to walk away

"Can I see him?" she asked

"Yes but only one at a time, down the hall and to the left" he explained turning back to face us

"What about Jade when can I see her?" Norma asked breaking out of my arms

"You can also see her but once again only one at a time, she is down the hall and on the right" he explained before pulling his clipboard close to his chest and turning walking away

Norma looked at me as if there was choice at who would see Jade first of course she would see her first it's her daughter.

Norma turned and walked up the hall before stopping and looking back at me. I shot her a quick smile she did the same before turning the door handle and walking in.

"JESY" I heard two voices come from behind me I saw Perrie and Leigh rush towards me both embracing me in a hug

"I'm so glad to see you girls" I squeezed them both tightly
