a/n: ok more names. I explained I.N Han and Seungmin in the last one here are the others. Binnie is Changbin in FL's phone, Dwaekki in HJ's. CBOldMan in FL's phone is for Chan and for HJ Chan's name is Channie. Lee Know (Minho) is CatButler for FL and EvilBunny for HJ. Hyunjin is Ex💔 in FL's phone and Felix is Lix 💔 in HJ's phone.
"What was that last night?" Minho asks, cornering me in between classes.
"And don't say nothing," Chan warns.
"Because that clearly wasn't 'nothing'," Changbin finishes, causing the other two to nod in agreement.
"I don't want to talk about it." I mutter, starting to walk away.
"Felix, I found you crying in the alleyway," Changbin gently reminds me.
"You cried in the alleyway?" Minho asks, his face showing concern.
I'm touched, since Minho normally doesn't show emotion to anyone except his boyfriend. But....
"It is nothing," I say, hoping they don't see through the lie.
They do.
"Come on, Felix. You can talk to us. You can trust us with anything." Changbin says.
The words feel painfully familiar to what Hyunjin told me years ago.
"We love you and we're worried about you," Chan adds.
"Please talk to us." Minho begs, "Why did Hyunjin call you Lix? How do you know him? What's wrong?"
It gets to be too much.
"Nothing!" I snap. "Stop pretending like you care! I know no one cares about me! You sound like Hyunjin! Just leave me alone!"
The older boys are stunned into silence. I feel bad, but it's too late to take the words back. So I shove past them and walk away.
Changbin, Chan, and Minho avoid me the rest of the day. I don't bother to try to talk to them. I know I hurt their feelings. But after a few days I reach out to Changbin.
You: Hey I'm sorry can we talk
Binnie: sure. meet me at my place after class. can minho and chan come?
You: i don't see why not since chan lives with you
Binnie: true ok talk to you then felix
You: bye changbin
"Hey." I say, looking at the ground.
"Hey." Changbin responds, "Come on in."
"Thanks."
I follow him into his dorm. As expected, Chan is already there, watching T.V. with Minho.
"Sorry about the other day," I say, "It's just... Hyunjin is a sensitive subject for me."
Chan mouths a silent 'oh'. "Is it okay to talk about it then?" he asks.
I take a deep breath. "Yeah. It's been two years. I need to move on and talk about it."
Minho nods. "I think I know the answer but... how do you know Hyunjin?"
I close my eyes, willing myself to not cry. "We dated for five years."
"What happened?" Changbin asks.
