Okay, this is a long chapter (I'm sorry) and my friend was helping edit this on Google Docs, and she insisted I add in the kissing scene to make it "less cringe" (you befriended me because I do cringe so well though), so yeah. If you find it weird, remember my best friend is sus and takes pride in being sus. It is NOT my fault (at least not completely lol I will take SOME responsibility since I wrote it but it was her plotline...) Blame us both I guess. I hope you enjoy!

Only a few of the guys are at the restaurant when I arrive. I head over to them and sit beside Minho.

The guys scored a booth that fits eight total, four on each side. Minho, of course, is sitting by Jisung. The next thing I know, I'm between Minho and Jeongin.

Seungmin sits across from Jeongin and they start bickering like brothers. Chan rolls his eyes as he makes Seungmin stand up so he can sit across from Jisung. Changbin follows suit. Felix is the last to arrive, and my eyes widen when I realize he has to sit across from me. He clearly realizes the same thing as he casts a desperate glance to Minho and Changbin, who wince in sympathy but don't move.

He sighs and sits across from me, but I don't look at him.

"Summer's almost here!" Jeongin celebrates.

Chan laughs. "I know. I'm finally going to get my degree."

"Same," Minho nods. "I hate school. I can't wait for it to be over."

"Any summer plans?" Seungmin asks as the waiter approaches.

"I might visit my family in Australia with Felix," Chan says before ordering.

Felix nodded. "It's not finalized yet though. We were thinking it could be a surprise."

As they explain their plans, I keep silent.

Finally, Jisung asks, "What are you planning, Hyunjin?"

I shrug half-heartedly. "Nothing interesting."

I finally look at Felix and see he's staring at me. He looks away and I look down again. I guess he got the rings.

That night, my phone rings and I pick it up lazily. I'm watching T.V., but immediately pause it when I see that it's my mom.

My parents live in America, even though they are Korean. My older sister lives in America as well, but she lives a few hours away from my parents. My brothers, one older and one younger, live in England together and were raised by my cousins. I normally don't talk to my parents because I grew up in Korea with my aunt and uncle after my sister got ill when I was five and they had to live near the hospital and couldn't afford four kids. I still live with my aunt and uncle, having moved back in after moving out of Felix's place, but they are currently in America with my parents. I visit twice a year, but it's expensive to fly over, so they call me monthly. I'm not mad, I love my aunt and uncle dearly and understand what my parents went through.

But I live for the calls I get once a month. But... Mom called this month already.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hyunjin, baby?" I hear my mom say.

Most of my family doesn't speak Korean, so we combine the words we know in Korean and English and try to form sentences. Thankfully, I speak English well enough. Most of my family know about five words in Korean.

"Mom?" I ask in Korean, before switching to English. "Is everything okay?"

I'm improving greatly, if I do say so myself. I'm almost fluent.
