Chapter 113

"'Flower of the battlefield',... that name really suits you," Lisa emarked, acting unaware of how Jayn hates the nickname.

Jennie passed him a dark look. She just found out upon reaching the capital that her name is famous with that nickname. It's a really grand nickname that she wished to bury deeply on the ground. Who in the world come with that nickname? she wished to kick and beat that person vehemently.

"I want to go home first. When is the celebration?" Jennie asks. She never joins the celebration in the capital, which is why she's not really familiar with the tradition over here.

"Tomorrow."

"Got it."

After saying a few more things, Jennie instructs Yabei to bring the soldiers back to the border and help Suelgi in moving, While at it, she calls Jimin.

"General," Jimin hurriedly bows down in respect.

Jennie heard from Yabei that Jimin is one of the commanders who achieve big result on this war. The other party fighting ability has increased by leaps and bound, coupled with his good leadership, he's a good commander. 

Because of Jennie's relation with Rosé, she had notice of this man, but this time it's because of his achievement.

"You did great. You and the others excellent commander are given seven days leave in the capital. You may visit your family during this time."

"Thank you General!" Jimin is excited. Normally, their general would only pass them notice about this reward, but for him Jayn comes personally. He knows that it's mainly because of his sister, but this reward is something he really deserved.

After telling that to Jimin, Jennie turned and leaves. Her current status is not suitable to talk with Jimin much, but in the future it might change. She goes towards her family's residence and walk in. 

Her grandfather is already waiting for her. "You little rascal, finally comes back home?" Chan chided, yet a smile never fades from his old face.

"Grandfather, I'm back," Jennie laughed a bit. Her grandfather is still the same as before.

"You have made me proud. Let's go inside and tell me what you have experienced."

Chan knows that Jennie has wounded her shoulder, a deep one. He had sent people to search for medicine to make the mark disappear, Jennie just shakes her head helplessly.

"I doubt that you're going to find it, Grandpa."

Chan looks troubled. "But, you're a girl, Jennie. You need to treat the wound."

"It's alright, with some medicine the mark wouldn't be so visible," Jennie smiled. "There are things more important than this. That Pan is active again."

"He's back? The Lan family is already pushing their luck."

"Yep, they are," Jennie nodded.

"It seems things won't be as peaceful as before."

As Jennie reunited with her grandfather, Lisa is ignoring his grandfather and only answering his mother question. Leo is grumbling by the side, but he cannot make Lisa even reacted to his words at all.

"Lisa maybe you need to talk with your grandfather more. He misses you,"  Lisa's mother, said in soft tone.

Lisa looks towards Leo. "I bet he just loves to brag about me to his friends."

That was absolutely correct and Leo cannot refute it. He just had bragging towards Chan for a few days. It's more correct to say that they are yelling towards each other of who is among their grandsons is the greatest. 

All in all, he just brags all day because the emperor gives him permission to leave early due to the matter had finished.

"Hmph, you little rascal, why are you keeps ignoring me?" Leo said feeling dejected.

Lisa just give him sidelong glance before returning his attention towards his mother. Shin-Hye gives helpless expression towards her father in law. 

She knows that Lisa still cannot forgive his grandfather. This is what makes their relationship grow awkward as time passes.

"Lisa , you're already 20. Do you have any girls in your mind?" Shin-Hye changed the subject into one of the most worrying things for her. She had wished her son to get married and give her cute grandsons or granddaughters. But, Lisa never wants to get tied up with girls and didn't want to talk about this with his mother.

Lisa stopped his action. If talking about girls, usually he wouldn't have anyone he fancies. But today somehow he faintly remembers that silhouette of a little girl: A petite little girl who hides behind her brother to hide her talents.

Lisa stopped his thoughts and look at his mother, "No one."

"But you will soon turn 21..." Shin-Hye feels that his son is keep on dragging this matter. If this keeps on... will she get to meet her grandsons or granddaughters?

"Maybe later, mother," Lisa answered.

Lisa's answer didn't make Shin-Hye retreat back. For a good one hour, she keeps on lecturing Lisa to find a girl he fancies and brings her home. 

Leo is forced to hear the lecture in hope he could find good match for Lisa.

In Leo's mind, he wants to tell Shin-Hye badly that Lisa won't be able to get a lady that soon. All this boy knows is to swing his sword and play with his friends. 

Additionally, with his cold demeanor towards ladies, how many of them would  be willingly come to him? Oh wait... he remembers one that might be able to become his son's bride... but, she is currently not in this kingdom.
