Chapter 59

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

I started training at the bank to be a Teller on June 23rd. Before you actually start they test you on your Cash handling skills, Computer knowledge, Customer service, Organization, Problem-solving, Written and Verbal communication, Processing transactions and Attention to detail. It's Tuesday July 1, 1986 it has been a whole week since Debby went missing when that red cube came up from the ground and took her. After twenty-four hours Jack had to file a missing persons report cause if he didn't the police would get suspicious of him because he's married to Debby. Jane made missing person flyers and put them up all over town with Debby's description and what she was wearing. The flyer has a picture of her then it says Debra Nelson " Debby" Age: 41, Height: 5'8" Weight: 158 lbs. Eyes: Blue, Hair: Brown, Last seen at Forth and Gill Park on 808 Eleanor Street. She was wearing a black and white plaid short sleeve button down opened with a black tank top, a black leather belt, a pair of dark high waisted Jordache blue jeans and a pair of black Doc Marten boots that are a size 9. Debby also has a tattoo on her right inner wrist that says Erica Jane '67. We are all traveling to the Unknown plane today after I get off of work to search for any signs of Debby. The reason Jane put up the flyers is that she is hoping Debby isn't in the Unknown plane that she's somewhere in town or somewhere else. If Debby stays in the Unknown plane three weeks or longer she will stop aging. I just got done with my training for the day it's 3:00pm. I walk out of a room in the back and through a door that leads out into the lobby where the rest of the Tellers are handling money and talking to customers who wait their turn in line. Because I'm in a bank I have to wear casual attire that is considered professional. I'm wearing a black blazer, a white long sleeve button up with a black tie, a pair of black dress pants and a pair of black flats. The tie is required with the outfit but a lot of women wear ties here in the 80's it's in fashion. But I look like 1980's female lawyer that wins all of her cases. Kyle saw me in my uniform cause I drove him to the Construction site this morning and he loved it he said I look totally hot. I pulled in my driveway behind Mom's new car it is a blue 1986 Jeep Cherokee parked beside Mom's car on the left is Terri's new car it's a white 1986 Acura Legend aka Honda Legend, Jane's red 1983 Toyota Celica Supra is behind Terri's car, then Kelly's black 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is parked behind Jane's car. As I'm getting out I hear an engine and look back at Natalie pulling in with her black 1982 Z28 Camaro with Ashley in the passenger seat. They both get out and see me in my uniform. Ashley grins at me so does Natalie. Ashley said " Now you really look like Nancy Drew". she said to mess with me. I playfully flip her off. Ashley smirks at me. We all three walk in and into the foyer. Mom, Terri and Jane are sitting on the couch, Kelly is sitting in the recliner as Mandi stands beside it. Mom said " Hey Sweetie did you have a good day?" I said " Yeah it was pretty good". Kelly is staring at me as she looks at my uniform. She said " You look like Nancy Drew". Mandi snickers as Kelly grins. Ashley said " I said the same thing". I give Kelly a sarcastic smile then Mom stands up and walks into the foyer. She said " I think you look beautiful Baby". Jane said " Yeah and she looks nothing like Nancy Drew". She gives Kelly a look. Mom looks at Ashley and said " Besides Nancy Drew didn't wear a suit". I walk upstairs with Jane to change. She sits on the bed looking at a Magazine as I change into regular clothes. I just put on a pair of high waisted Guess blue jeans and my belt as I'm buckling it I'm standing there in my grey lace bra. The door is cracked I faintly see Kelly peeking in watching me. I clear my throat and Jane looks up from the Magazine. I motion my head towards the door and Jane looks over seeing Kelly. She points at the door using her Telekinesis to push the door and it hits Kelly in the nose as she exclaims in slight pain. Jane gets up from the bed and rolls up the magazine then opens the door. Kelly is standing there as Jane looks at her. Kelly said to Jane " Do you still have that Dagger you stabbed Erin with?" Jane said as she stared at Kelly " Yeah.. and the next time I catch you looking in at Kim while she's changing I'll use it on you". Kelly scoffs then said " Please you know it wouldn't kill me". Jane bonks Kelly on the head with magazine then slams the door in her face. Jane has been really on edge since Debby went missing. She hasn't been hateful to me or Jason just to people like Kelly, Mandi, Ashley and Natalie and others that rub her the wrong way but Jane has always a temper but she's more cooler headed than me. I said as I put on a black V-neck t-shirt " Thank you.. she's getting braver lately". Jane turned around with her back to the door holding the unfolded magazine. She said with a serious tone " I'll kill her if she tries anything with you". I put on my Calvin Klein blue jean jacket as I walked up to her. Her eyes are tearing up when she cries her eyes become lighter. A tear falls from her face and I reach up and gently wipe it off. She said as more tears fell from her eyes " Kim.. I can't sleep.. I can barely eat.. I'm worried sick about My Mom.. I just want her back home.. I have never seen My Dad so sad before it's killing me".. I pull her into a hug and she cries on my right shoulder as I hold her. Afterwards we walk down stairs; Mom, Terri, Kelly, Mandi, Ashley and Natalie are standing in the middle of the foyer around that Pentagram from when we vanquished Erin. Mom said to me and Jane " Ashley and Natalie said that a Pentagram is one way to travel to the Unknown plane but they have to chant in Latin to call dark magic so it will open all we have to do it hold their hands". We agree and everyone holds hands as Ashley, Natalie, Kelly and Mandi start chanting in Latin. As they all chant together Ashley, Natalie and Kelly's eyes turn red while Mandi's turn pitch black cause she's an evil witch calling upon dark magic. The Pentagram lights up a bright orange color and turns into an orange vortex. Kelly looks at us and said " Witches first". Jane jumps down then me, Mom, Terri then Mandi, Kelly, Ashley and Natalie. We all are now looking up at that creepy red sky with the lightening. I look at the orange vortex in the dirt it's still open. Ashley said " Good thing I did research a Pentagram is the fastest way in and out of here but it doesn't stay open too long. So Jane you and Kim go look around while we wait here". Kelly said " Mandi and I will go with them to watch their backs". Mom and Terri stay there with Ashley and Natalie. I said to them " You better protect them or I will be your worst nightmare". Ashley and Natalie give me an evil grin then Natalie said " I got your mommy and.. whatever that chick's name is". Kelly said to Natalie " It's Terri.. numb nuts". she said with sarcasm Mom and Terri roll their eyes at Kelly's attitude. Natalie silently mocks Kelly in with sarcasm. Kelly points at her and said " Watch the attitude.. I'll adjust it later". Natalie just smiles at Kelly with a grin. Kelly said to them " Keep your eyes peeled". We start walking up a hill and as we get to the bottom and see a small camp set up with a fire pit. As we get closer we see a Leprechaun. Jane covers her crotch and whispers to Kelly " It's one of those fucking Leprechauns you set after us".. Kelly whispered " I swear I didn't send them they showed up".. I focus my eyes on him more but I don't recognize him as the ones we've seen before. He looks over at us and is terrified when he sees Kelly. He said in a deep Irish accent " I promise not to come into your mansion anymore!" He covers his face in fear. Kelly said " Fitz I'm not here about that". He uncovers his face then smiles. He said " Then what are you hear for my pretty?" He said grin. Kelly smacks him in the back of the head and he exclaims in pain. He said " Ouch! you bitch!". Kelly said " Sorry I don't like short guys". in a teasing way as she bent down He rubs the back of his head. He said " What do you want?" in an impatient tone. Jane hands Kelly a picture of Debby and she shows it to the leprechaun. Kelly said " Have you seen this woman down here?" He takes the picture from her hands and studies it. He hands it back and said as he digs in his jacket pocket " Is her name Debby?" Jane said " Yeah why?" He pulls out a silver vintage 1.50 princess cut diamond ring and hands it to Jane. She sees something engraved in the inside of the ring it says Jack & Debby forever and always. Jane's eyes tear up as she stares at the ring. She said through tears " This is her wedding ring.. she never takes it off".. Jane puts it her pocket and Fitz said " It wasn't gold so it wasn't worth much to me at least". Kelly said " Did you see Debby down here?" Fitz said " No.. but she sure is pretty". he said with a grin. Jane said with sarcasm " Don't make me kick you in the nuts you fucking creep". Fitz said " What? I'm just saying I'd remember if I saw her and trust me she's not down here my loves". Kelly hands Jane the picture back and we walk back down the hill to Mom, Terri, Ashley and Natalie. Mom said " Nothing?" Jane pulls out the wedding ring and shows them. Jane said " She definitely was down here.. I'm not gonna stop until I find her". Ashley said " Isn't that a bad sign if you just find a wedding ring?" Natalie nudges Ashley in the ribs and she shuts up. Jane said as she looked at her " She's not dead.. she's alive.. and I'm gonna find her.. everyone else better get the hell out of my way". We all jump back inside the orange vortex and go back to my house.
