Jackson stared at the report with depression. He was happy that May still treated him rather well during her time here, but finding out that she wouldn't come here for a long time again made him feel rather depressed.

Jisoo looked at the emperor with a sigh. "If you don't want to finish your work, you're not allowed to get out of this room."

Jackson grumbled under his breath as he continued to tackle the paper in front of him.

It was not like he didn't do any work, but his heart was not willing right now.

"Jackson is like an eternal bachelor," Jennie commented.

"He just had bad luck in choosing a woman," Jisoo shrugged.

The first time he tried to get close to a woman, the 'girl' turned out to be his brother. The second time he wanted to get close to a girl, that person belonged to his best friend.

Now that he had become the emperor, the girl he took fancy wouldn't be able to come here for a few more months.

Jennie had to agree with Jisoo. Of all the men she knew, Jackson was probably someone she knew to have much luck with women.
