Bae joohyun was titled the weird, quiet nerd in her school simply because she didn't talk to anyone, and she always got top marks in all her classes.

Nobody has ever heard her even speak a word some days she was bullied for it and some days people left her alone.

There was a curious bear though and by curious bear that means the popular well known girl called Kang seulgi she was very popular, she was a social butterfly and was friends with everyone, guys wanted to date her and even girls.

She'd been curious about joohyun ever since a few months ago she wanted to get to know the girl but she never knew how to approach her she learned her schedule just so she could talk to her but she hadn't gathered the courage to do so.

Her friends moonbyul, Jisoo, soyeon and eunbi have all couraged her to talk to joohyun but she chickens out each time so moonbyul and soyeon came up with a plan which was to talk to their English teacher Mr Kim about putting them two together for the group project coming up and surprisingly enough he agreed.

So now it was currently lunch time and moonbyul was going to tell seulgi.

Seulgi sat at their usual table with a big sigh Jisoo giggles "what's up seul?" She asked and seulgi pouts "I wanna talk to her but I'm so much of a wuss! Today I had the chance but I just stumbled over my words and walked away" she ranted with a pout.

Jisoo along with eunbi giggled "aw eonni you'll be able to talk with her soon don't beat yourself up! You got this!" Eunbi said and seulgi smiled "thank you bi" she said and eunbi nodded smiling at her.

Then moonbyul along with soyeon sat at the table "eonni!~ we have some good news!" Soyeon said cheerfully and moonbyul chuckled nodding "indeed we do" she said and seulgi looked at them confused "what news?" She asked and moonbyul smirked "we talked Mr Kim into having you partner up with joohyun!" She said and seulgi's eyes widen.

"Wait a-are you serious?" She asked shocked and they all giggled at their cute friend "yes eonni! Now you can finally get to talk to her and get to know her!" Soyeon said cheerfully and seulgi sighed happily "thank you guys!" She said genuinely "ah you don't need to thank us seul but if you want we can just go out for drinks~" moonbyul said making seulgi chuckle.

After lunch they all went to class which was their English class.

Once everyone was in class mr kim spoke up "so class as you know we're having a new project and this time it will be in pairs that I will assign I will have no complaints with who your partner will be do I make myself clear?" He said sternly and everyone nodded intimidate by their teacher.

He smiled "great! I will assign you all to your desk mate and this project will be due in 4 weeks and before I forget let me tell you what your project will be..!" And so he explained to them what they had to be doing.

After he was finished he gave them time to start working with their partners and seulgi was actually very nervous.

She took a deep breath and turned to joohyun who seemed to already be looking at her but when she was discovered she squealed turning away with a blush seulgi chuckled at the girl's cuteness "your very cute joohyun" she said smiling and slowly joohyun turned to her with red cheeks and a surprised face seulgi just smiled "so how about we start?" Seulgi said and slowly joohyun nodded feeling those familiar butterflies in her stomach.
