Hi guys! Sorry for updating so late,it's been a busy day! Here is the Start of Something Pt.4! Enjoy! Also Chloe is character I randomly made up.
Third Person POV
Aru groaned as she regained consciousness,seeing a concerned Aiden and a smirking Chloe looking at her. She quickly realized what had happened,Aiden was trying to tell her something and Chloe being the spoiled brat she was,must have pushed her out of the way. She attempted to get up but felt a painful twinge in her ankle and sat back down.
"How was your trip down Aru? Sorry to interrupt whatever happened between you and Aiden. I'm still surprised that he even wanted to talk to you" said Chloe,the mayor's daughter and the most popular girl in her school.
Instead of her,Aiden shot back at Chloe.
"I'm surprised you even know how to talk Chloe,knowing how smart you are. Are you ok Aru? said Aiden, leaning down
Before Aru could reply,Aiden swiftly picked her up and placed her down on a bench. Aiden then asked Aru if he could put a bandage on her ankle to which Aru nodded,still shaken after Aiden picked her up. He carefully applied ointment to aru's ankle and quickly wrapped a bandage around it.
"I honestly don't get what you see in her Aiden? What's so special about Aru anyway?" said Chloe,crossing her arms.
"What's so special about her? Aru's kind,fierce,will do anything to protect her friends,smart and always knows what to say. And the truth is Aru... I love you. I do anything for you,no matter the consequences. I've been keeping this in for such a long time and had to tell you. It's perfectly fine if you don't feel the same way and I don't bla-"said Aiden
Aru leaned in and kissed him before he could finish his sentence. Aiden paused but kissed her back, both of them waiting for this as long as they could remember. Shivers traveled down their spines as Aiden pulled Aru closer,deepening the kiss . The electrifying kiss felt liked lasted for eternity as they both finally pulled away,both in dire need for oxygen.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for that" said Aru,still breathless
"Me either" said Aiden,with wide eyes
Aru suddenly turned toward Chloe,mouth handing opening and smirked.
"Surprised Chloe? I know what will cure you of this heartbreak! There's a buy one get one free sale for ice cream at the supermarket if you hurry up. Your sure gonna need it when your crying yourself to sleep tonight" said Aru,totally done with Chloe's behavior
Chole scoffed and walked off into the distance. Aiden looked back at Aru with a half shocked,half amused expression.
"Damn Aru,didn't know you had that in you"said Aiden,looking a touch proud
"What can I say Aiden? I've had enough of her. Also,we might have a problem."said Aru
"Whatcha talking about Aru?"said Aiden,confused
"Well it's late and we need to get back to Brynne's house but 1. I can't walk without help and 2.Knowing us,we didn't bring our phones or our wallets but luckily I have the perfect idea" said Aru,with a mischievous glint in her eyes
"I'm not going to like this am I?" said Aiden,groaning
"You are going to carry me all the way back to Brynne's house because I can't walk on my own"said Aru,smirking
"No. No. Abosultely not. Not happening. Never" said Aiden,shaking his head
"You literally just said that you would anything for me less than 5 minutes ago" said Aru, raising her eyebrow
10 minutes later,Aiden against his will, was carrying Aru home. Deep down,he didn't mind carrying Aru,it only made him happier that she wanted him too carry her.
"You're so heavy Shah You really need to stop eating so much Swedish fish"said Aiden,half-joking
"Looks like I saw somebody else in the window this morning said,Aru looking up to see Aiden rolling his eyes
Aru and Aiden laughed and before they knew it,they were at Brynne's house. Aiden carefully placed down Aru before intertwining his hand with hers. They both took a deep breath before steeping into Brynne's house.
Finally you two are home! I saved two samosas just for yo-" said Brynne,before looking at Aru and Aiden holding hands
"We are together?" said Aiden,looking at Aru who gave him a nod
The potatoes looked at the new couple in shock and then smiled. All of them had been waiting for this moment.
"It's about damn time that you two got together! My ship has finally sailed" said Nikita
"Language Nikita! But she's right,I don't know how long you two have had crushes on each other for" said Mini,smacking Nikita in the arm
"It's good that you finally told Aru about your feelings cuz! I couldn't bear listening you talking about your crush on Aru for one more second" said Rudy,smirking
"Actually Aru was the one who kissed me first so" said Aiden,flustered
"That's true." said Sheela,nodding
"A KISS? You two are telling me everything that happened on that walk" said Brynne with a smug expression on her face
The slighly red couple laughed,ready to face whatever happened next,as long as they were together.
