Chapter 10: Angel's special lullaby

Previously: "I looked up and saw the pink and white spider face red with tears rolling down his cheeks. I laid him down and cuddled him close as I sang him a lullaby to calm him down."

As he rested his head on my chest I started to sing.

After I sang my lullaby Angel was already asleep in my chest, I cuddled him close and I would make sure he is safe and sound. That night I barely slept because I was watching Angel to make sure Angel was okay, breathing correctly, and sleeping smoothly. But even though I lost all my fuckin sleep it was worth it to make sure he was okay. A couple of times throughout the night Angel would whimper and dig his nails into my arms because of a nightmare. Even though I was in a lot of pain because of his nails I still comforted and reassured him he's safe and no one will hurt him.
