Chapter Ten: Ready for Anything

Kotetsu POV
Time Skip

Today I was at the Butterfly Estate, the butterfly girls immediately try to make me feel welcome, even though I was only there cus they let me Pick Flowers. I came across Aoi who had just finished cleaning a few sheets, she then approached me. "I still never thought we would have someone from the Swordsmith village as a guest considering your town is well, you know hidden." It's true what she just said, it's not every often I could be in area's such as these.

This might be a bit cheesy but these flowers I picked up should really boost my chances with Muichirou and....they even remind me of him. I not gonna let the slightest nerve get the best of me thankfully I know the place inside and out thanks to everyone, I did notice a Demon Slayer and a Kakushi which are known as the Cleanup Brigade Members of the Demon Slayer Corp, I think there names were Murata and Goto. I seen them hang out more often than usual, I guess they were just really good friends. Anyways I ended up in the side of the Demon Slayer Headquarters, was I not looking? I guess I wasn't since I been so focus on the flowers with my face red.

That moment just like what happens to everything else gets taken so easily, an explosion appeared and I ended up being unlucky and I was at the brink of it as rubble collapsed on me, I survived since I was small...but that immediately took so much from me, I was unconscious and most likely for a long time but even so...I still was holding the flowers for him...

3rd POV
Time Skip

Muzan the Demon King has taken a new step of tainting everything around him in blood, and instantly initiated the War Against Demon Slayers and Demons at an unexpected time, all for fighting to get to Nezuko the Chosen Demon who was able to Conquered the Sun. The fight wasn't organized and the upper moons were no longer completed after the deaths of Upper moon 5 and 6, and most of the weaker demons were enhanced to fight like Lower Moons, everyone was divided at this point, Muichirou so happens to be either lucky or unlucky along with Genya facing the strongest of all...Upper Moon 1

Muichirou didn't realized at first but everything got Altered instantly when both him and Genya were nearly at the brink of death, his memories flashback again until he sees his twin brother fully. He wanted to reach out to his dear brother clearly having enough motivation to tell his brother not to even die at this age. Muichirou was confused why his brother reach out to him even though he wasn't dead yet, The truth that Yuichiro wanted to tell Muichirou was that there was a sunshine he needed to be with and that the master told him to mainly focus on surviving, yet there was more to it, it wasn't just his family or friends that help him get his memories back, it was the sunshine that also helped him that he had to be with and that he had to stay alive for. Muichirou couldn't think of that now but knew that this was enough for him to strive through almost dying.

At that moment Muichirou test his limits and break through, at the age 14 he went beyond and gained the strength that surpasses anyone around him and with the help of Genya they bought enough time for Sanemi and Gyomei to jump in, for ones he was happy to see his brother alive, I guess in the most dangerous scenario both him and his brother are in, Sanemi slightly had a change of heart seeing his younger brother Genya. But soon...Upper Moon has been defeated

Muichirou POV

I wanted to keep fighting, but doing so in this horrible condition, I end up killing myself in the process, we were save for now but then the more battles that was going in the Infinity Castle was enough for everything to collapse and fall we were outside and I prayed that everyone there was ok, I think I can finally admit I came a long way from where I was at, I was myself again but now I can do things I wish I could of then when my twin brother was alive, speaking of which he told me that I needed to stay alive for my Sunshine, but who? I thought long and hard, I even thought during the time when Tanjiro was in trial, it was too far but I wasn't to persistent, I then was at the thought of the Swordsmith village and then it finally got him...Kotetsu

I needed to see if he was ok, I have to, Goto assist me and that's when we found the remnants of the headquarters, with the strength I had left I search far and wide beneath all this rubble and then I notice a few beautiful flowers I didn't know why they were standing up like that how they were in good condition but then I notice a hand and as I lift all this off I was horrified by the sight I see, Kotetsu has been underneath this destruction for hours with his mask destroyed completely with no help and he was holding those flowers still, my heart ached like never before the same way when I lost my family

"M..Muichirou...these...we're....meant for you...and only...you.." those were the only things he can say before he went to deep slumber, I was heartbroken so this is what it felt like...knowing now that this whole time since I first met him which I regretted the way I treated him.....

"Kotetsu....you were my Sunshine!" I Cried
