"I am Jocefie Abad. And who are you?"

"Felisa Adonis." The girl opened her mouth and said:

"I think you should already have died. Why have you left a sliver of your consciousness in my mind?" Felisa Adonis asks herself in the features of Jocefie Abad.

Jocefie did not release any of her words for a moment, even though she was also confused about what happened. Did she die, or was she just possessed by other spirits? When Felisa Adonis notices her silence. She urged herself to tell,

"I refuse to resign to my fate! My hatred for Rowena Sagi continues to burn! Rowena Sagi put me in this pitiable state...."The sobbing voice was suddenly filled with hatred as it resounded within her mind.

Jocefie Abad remained silent and did not say a single word, only listening to the voice weep. The sobs were filled with resentment and hatred, and the raw emotions passed from her mind and crept into her heart, making her strongly feel an indignant rage that did not belong to her.

"Stop crying for a moment and tell me all about it!"

Jocefie Abad said with a frown, silently thinking to herself: If not for her and the fact that she wanted to clear her doubts about this spectral presence in her mind and the situation before her, she would have walked out long ago instead of sitting here to listen to the voice's incessant weeping. The voice in her head stopped for a moment, and the weeping was reduced to spasmodic sobs and sniffles. The voice did not share her story in great detail, as she was at least smart enough to realize what would serve her best interests at that moment. Hence, Jocefie Abad went on to say, "I've died, and my body has now become yours."

"No, you're not dead; it is your body; I only possessed you," Felisa says.

"Impossible, how would I be possessed by a spirit like you? I didn't do anything bad. I am just a normal person." Josefie talks to her mind.

"Because this is the remaining power that I have cultivated and I have five days to live in this world, I carefully chose you to ask for help; I believe you have those nurtured skills," Felisa explained. Josefie thinks for a moment before saying so.

"Well, my life is not that pretty; I thought this was the end of it, but here you are; you save me. Thank you, Felisa." Josefie finally realizes it; if not for Felisa, she would have been raped and died. She came at the exact time, even though she is just a wild spirit.

"Jocefie, I will only beg for two things. First, I want Rowena Sagi to suffer a living fate worse than death! Killing her quickly with a thrust of the sword will not appease the hatred in my heart. And only when she lives, suffering endless torment, will the hatred be appeased and for my heart to rest in peace!"

Her voice had thick hatred wrapped around it. At that point, she already accepted that she wouldn't be able to recover anything for herself, and hence all she yearned for at that moment was to make the person responsible for putting her into that abominable state, Rowena Sagi, live out her life in endless suffering! Jocefie's eyebrow raised, but she did not speak. Only the ends of her mouth lifted slightly, but it was undetermined whether that was a smile.

Jocefie Abad walked back and forth to that room while thinking carefully about helping Felisa Adonis. And at that moment, as if knowing what Jocefie Abad was thinking in her mind, Felisa Adonis continued to say:

"I do not know where you came from, and I do not know what kind of status you held before. But from the cool-headed way you handled the situation and the calm I can sense from you, I believe you were someone extraordinary. Or at least, you will not be as dumb as I have been to end up having someone steal my identity and ending up being killed like this.

Upon hearing that, Jocefie's eyes lit up, the ends of her mouth lifted slightly higher, and she said, "Alright, what is the second one?"

Hearing those words, Felisa Adonis knew that meant Jocefie Abad had agreed, and she heaved a silent sigh of relief. But at the same time, her voice grew sorrowful and depressed.

"If you help me, I promise to take care of everything for you, I will protect you so that you will not have to suffer any longer, and I'll share everything with you—everything I treasured, even my own life—even though I'm trying to survive and not sure if I am. My family members are all very kind people who treasure me greatly and dote on me. I have to return to them."

"I understand. I have to save you then. I promised Felisa. I will do anything good to protect myself. But promise me also that you will fight for it," Jocefie said.

The fair skin of slender fingers tapped softly on the table. The light, gentle tapping made Felisa Adonis nervous. She had no way of knowing what Jocefie Abad was thinking and was left with no other choice; she feared hearing rejection coming out of Jocefie's mouth, so she went on to say: "I will leave all my memories to you to allow you to know everything that has happened, and I will also share my cultivated power. Jocefie, please help me."

After hearing the voice in her head fade off, Jocefie Abad suddenly felt an intense pain in her head, feeling just like someone was forcibly stuffing something into it. Her brows drew close together as she closed her eyes to endure the sharp pain, and it was a while before she slowly opened her eyes. And in her mind, she suddenly found many memories that did not originally belong to her. It might be due to Felisa's memories melding with hers, but when the memory of being disfigured surfaced in her mind, she could feel the same feeling Felisa Adonis had felt then, almost just like she had been the one who had actually suffered under that knife.

"Rowena Sagi...?"

The melding of memories in her mind had also allowed her to understand her current situation and what was going on around her. Hence, she stood up and walked over to the dead man's side, emptying the man's stripped-off clothes of anything that was of value.

She saw that the dress on herself had a sleeve torn off and the front lapel was ripped. She quickly decided, and she tore out a piece of cloth from the inner layer of her skirt to hide her face. She needed to do it stealthily, without catching anyone's eye, as she had to leave the place.

It was a pity that a thorough search of the room had not given her any pieces of clothing she was able to wear. As for the man's clothes, she saw that they were really too dirty, and she did not want to wear them. She suddenly remembered that this was a place where men sought pleasure in the flesh, so she simply tore off the other sleeve and revealed her fair and smooth shoulders.

Felisa Adonis is now in the feature of Jocefie Abad. She made further fixes and adjustments to the outfit, swiftly transforming it into a tube dress as her eyes landed on the sheer fabric covering the bed frame.

Before leaping out the back window, she extended her hand and pulled the gauze over her shoulders. She landed firmly, swiftly looked around, and only saw one exit directly in front of her. She crept into the courtyard in front and disappeared amid the laughing and mocking girls.

In one minute, a sharp scream was heard as she was going to move to flee the area.

"Ahhhhh! Someone's been murdered!"

The people around them who heard it suddenly ran and gathered at that place.
