Leap of a week

Nandini was working in her cabin when Ayan knocked and came in

Hii, did yo you had any work?

Nandini asked with a sweet smile as in this one week they had formed a good bond.

Actually can you ask Heer to contact me, I wanted to discuss something

Ayan was speaking when nandini interrupted him and said

This is Heer's personal number

Nandini messaged him and he looked at her with confused expressions.

What? I have eyes and I can see that you like Heer

Nandini said ayan's cheeks turned

red and he tried to deny it, but Nandini just smiled knowingly.

"Don't worry, Ayan. In fact, I think you two would make a cute couple, but remember I won't spare you if you hurt her"

Ayan nodded at her and went out

In Manik's penthouse

Manik sleeping on his bed when his phone rang making his sleep break.

Manik looked at the caller id as it was his mom and sighed as he was wasn't interested in talking to her

But he answered the call anyways

"I know you're busy with work, but that's not all there is to life, Manik. Have you thought about settling down and starting a family with navya?" his mom asked, her tone hopeful.

Manik rolled his eyes. "Mom, not this again. I'm not interested in settling down right now."

Yesterday Mrs. Ahuja came home to talk about your and navya's marriage

Manik groaned. "Mom, I've already told you that I'm not ready for marriage. Can we please drop this topic for now?"

Fine but remember navya is going to stay there for a week

Manik sighed, knowing that he wouldn't be able to avoid Navya for the next week.

He glanced at his phone and saw a missed call from Navya. He debated calling her back but decided against it, not in the mood for her constant clinginess.

He got up and went to his balcony, looking out at the city. He wondered what Nandini was doing right now. He couldn't stop thinking about her, no matter how hard he tried. He knew that their one-night stand had been a mistake, but he couldn't deny how drawn he was to her.

Meanwhile, Nandini was sitting at her desk, scrolling through her phone. She couldn't help but think about Manik. She tried to deny her feelings, but she couldn't ignore the attraction she felt towards him. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She needed to focus on work and forget about Manik.

Suddenly, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. It was Heer.

"Hey, Nandu. Can you come to my office? I need your opinion on something," Heer said.

"Sure, I'll be right there," Nandini replied, grabbing her files and heading to Heer's office.

She entered in and saw Heer continuously looking at her her phone

"What's up? Is everything okay?" Nandini asked, concern etched on her face.

Heer looked up and smiled. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just wanted to show you something," she said, handing Nandini her phone.

Nandini looked at the phone and saw a message from Ayan asking Heer out on a date. She couldn't help but smile, happy for her friend.

"Oh my god, Heer! That's amazing! You should definitely go out with him," Nandini exclaimed, returning the phone to her friend.

Heer blushed, looking down at her feet. "I don't know, I don't want things to get awkward if it doesn't work out," she said, biting her lip nervously.

Nandini put a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder. "Don't worry about that, Heer. Just enjoy the moment and see where it goes. You deserve to be happy," she said, giving her friend a warm smile.

What about your happiness Nandu?

"I'm fine, Heer. Don't worry about me," Nandini replied, trying to hide her inner turmoil.

Heer shook her head at nandini's behaviour and said

Why don't you talk to manik. You are constantly trying to avoid him.

Heer please already he and navya is in relationship and I dont want to interfere," Nandini replied, feeling a knot form in her stomach.

Heer looked at Nandini with a knowing expression. "Nandu, I know you have feelings for him. You can't keep ignoring him forever. You should talk to him and clarify your feelings," she said, giving her friend a reassuring smile.

Fine I'll think about it but for now you should get ready for your date.

Heer nodded and nandini helped her to get ready.
Otherside manik was getting ready when the doorbell rang
He groaned, not in the mood for any interruptions. He went to the door and opened it to find Navya standing there, a smile plastered on her face.

"Hey, Manik. I tried calling you earlier. Why didn't you answer?" she asked, stepping inside.

Manik closed the door behind her and sighed. "I was busy with work. What brings you here?" he asked, trying to keep his tone polite.

Navya shrugged. "I just wanted to spend some time with you," she replied, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Manik gently pushed her away. "Navya, we've talked about this. I'm not ready for a relationship right now," he said, feeling frustrated.
Anyways I have to leave for office
He continued and wore his shoes
Fine I'll come with you anyways I dont have any other plans
Manik rolled his eyes but didn't argue, knowing it would be pointless. He grabbed his briefcase and headed to his car, with Navya tagging along.

As they drove to the office, Manik couldn't help but think about Nandini. The way she smiled, the way she laughed - it was all he could think about.

"Manik, are you okay? You seem distracted," Navya said, noticing his distant expression.

Manik snapped out of his thoughts. "I'm fine. Just thinking about work," he lied, not wanting to explain his real thoughts to Navya.Navya nodded, not convinced but deciding not to push the matter. As they arrived at the office, they got out of the car and made their way inside.

Manik headed straight to his cabin, trying to avoid any interaction with Navya. He had no interest in spending time with her, especially when all he could think about was Nandini.

Meanwhile, Nandini was still at Heer's office, giving her friend a final once-over before she left for her date with Ayan.

"You look amazing, Heer. Ayan won't be able to take his eyes off you," Nandini said, giving her friend a warm hug.

Heer blushed, feeling grateful for Nandini's support. "Thank you, Nandu. I couldn't have done it without you," she said, giving her friend a grateful smile.

Nandini smiled and watched as Heer left the office, feeling happy for her friend.
