After some time.

Manik's POV

"Manik please get ready, otherwise we will get late "

I'll come down in five minutes.

I said and closed the door.

I just understand what's wrong with navya? I have already told her that I don't want to have any relation with then why is she behaving as if we love each other.

Now I have to meet her parents for dinner and I don't know what will happen there.

Wearing my shoes i went down and navya told Ayan to drive towards Malik mansion

Why are we going there?But then, my thoughts were interrupted as we reached our destination.

As we got out of the car, Anita aunty and ram uncle was waiting for us at the door. They greeted us warmly and led us inside.

As we entered the living room, I saw Raima sitting on the couch, doing something on her phone, while Heer and Nandini were nowhere to be seen.

Manik, Ayan what are you both doing here? Raima bhabhi asked seeing us here

"We were invited for dinner by Navya's parents," Ayan replied instead of me as I was busy searching for nandini but Anita aunty interrupted us and asked us to sit for dinner

Just then, Heer and Nandini walked into the room. Nandini looked beautiful as always, but there was something different about her. I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

She sat infront of me and I couldn't take my eyes of her

As we began eating, I noticed that Nandini wasn't eating much and she seemed lost in thought. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on with her

After dinner, Anita aunty suggested that we all go to the terrace for some fresh air. As we made our way up the stairs, a hand pulled me inside a room.

Nandini's POV

Bhabhi I'm going to room

I informed Raima bhabhi and was about to get up when Heer told that she will come with me

Heer,it's ok spend some time with Ayan and I'm in my room.

I said as I didn't want her to ignore Ayan because of me

Heer nodded, understandingly, and I made my way to my room.

As I was going towards my room, i saw the guest room open and some noise coming from inside

Out of curiosity, I peeked inside and saw Manik and navya standing close to eachother, their faces just inches apart. My heart sank at the sight of them together, and I quickly backed away, not wanting to intrude.

I made my way to my room, feeling a mix of emotions

As I lay there, lost in my thoughts, I heard a knock on my door. I quickly wiped away my tears and sat up, composing myself. "Come in," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

The door opened, and Heer walked in. She looked at me with concern in her eyes. "Nandu, are you okay?" she asked, coming over to sit next to me on the bed.

I shook my head, unable to hold back my tears any longer. "No, Heer. I'm not okay," I said, my voice cracking.

Heer hugged me tightly, offering me comfort. "What's wrong, Nandu? You can tell me," she said, her voice gentle.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. "I saw Manik with Navya in the guest room. They were standing so close to each other, and it broke my heart," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Heer's expression softened, and she took my hand in hers. "Nandu, it might be just a misunderstanding, you should try to talk to him. And you have to tell him about the baby. He deserves to know, and you deserve to have his support," she said, her voice full of empathy.

Fine, I'll talk to him but if has any relation with navya than I won't let him come close to me as I can't afford to take any risk in this matter

I said caressing my tummy

Fine soon to be mumma" Heer said and they were about to go down when a butler came and informed them to come down. They nodded and went down.

What's going on? Saad who had just arrived asked
I had to make a special announcement."Ram Ahuja
said, looking at everyone in the room. "Navya and Manik are getting engaged next week.

Engaged? Manik was getting engaged to Navya?
I looked at manik who had an expression less face.m
