" I need you Trys'." Aemma said turning toward her friend.

After spending time with Aemma, Helaena had started to act strangely, so Aemma decided to let her alone and she was now walking with Trystane in the hallways.

" Everything you need." The knight responded and Aemma sighed.

She knew what she was about to ask could be considered treason but there was no other way. She needed to know why Corlys had sent a raven to the capital and why the queen was hiding it from Aemma.

" I need you to drag the knights guarding the council chamber away."
She said and Trystane frowned.

" Why ?" He asked as he stopped walking.

" Because I need to hear what they're hiding from me." She replied. Trystane stared at her for a long time before sighing. " I would not ask you if it weren't important, Trys."

He sighed again and The princess knew that he had agreed. " How do you want me to drag them away ?"

" Ser Errik guards Aegon. Tell him that the prince has requested his presence and tell his brother that the king needs him." She said and Trystane rolled his eyes.

Aemma knew that what she was asking something difficult but she had to know.
" I will send Ser Errik away, and take his place. You stay in your room I'll listen by myself."

She nodded. His plan was far better than hers and far less dangerous. " you need to be quick." She spoke and Trystane nodded before taking her hand.

" Stay here." He said as he lead Aemma back to my chambers.

The princess sighed when she watched him leave the room. She didn't want to put her friend in such position but it was the only way for her to know what was going on in this council chamber.
Aemma didn't know much about the stepstones except that her grandfather, her father and her stepfather had fought a war there against the free cities. And she wasn't stupid, knew that if her grandfather was there, it wasn't good. Especially if he had to sent raven to the capital.

" Princess." Someone called out behind the door.

Aemma stood up and walked towards the door to open it. " Yes Deria ?"

Aemma didn't like Deria. She didn't trust her. She knew that the queen was the one who chose her and Aemma didn't trust the queen. She knew that Deria was loyal to Alicent and that she was probably secretly spying on her.

" Princess, the ship which was carrying your things has been lost in the storm the crew survived but I'm afraid your things are lost."

Aemma sighed. Of course. As if the situation could be worse.
" Thank you Deria."

" Does the princess wish me to sent for the royal stylist ?"

" That will not be necessary. I will go myself in the city." Aemma spoke and closed the door.
