I open my eyes and see The Notebook is playing. The tub of ice cream is half eaten and half melted. I squint to see the time on the laptop and it says 2:50. I knew Harry showed up at around 11:05, but I didn't know he had been here for that long.
The last thing I remember is Harry turning on Love Actually. I guess I fell asleep. I sit up and rub my eyes. Harry turns his eyes to look at me. "Oh, You're up! How are you feeling?" He asks, not even bothered by the fact that his shoulder probably feels like it will fall off.
"Tired," He laughs and rubs my back. I lay back down beside him instead of crushing his arm again. "Sorry for having you see that. I don't really know what I was thinking." I state.
"We are all going through things and it's important to not always bottle things up. Thank you for trusting me with how you feel. But I didn't know you had a boyfriend. you don't talk about him often." He continues to rub my back to calm me down.
"Well, there isn't much to say about him. We have just been dating for a few months. He still hasn't told me he loves me yet, so it's not that serious. Although, when I told him I loved him, he kind of just pushed it to the side. More like he can tolerate it, not actually do something more for it. That doesn't really make sense but you get what I mean."
"Yeah, I understand. If you ever need to talk to someone, just know I'm here. And no, this won't effect our relationship at all so don't worry about it." Harry smiles and my jaw drops. How did he read my mind?
I'm glad that this won't change anything. I have experienced times when things changed between me and a friend after I shared my problems. I even asked her if she was sure to hear about it and she said yes. It didn't end well.
"You too." I say, looking at his green eyes. He chuckles and rubs his thumb up and down my upper arm.
"Thank you." We continue to watch The Notebook. I have seen this movie so many times that I am almost immune to it. I used to cry every time, but now I can't even smile during the best scenes. I don't mind it of course, because now I'm practically able to keep a straight face for any movie in the whole world. Nothing can break me.
While the movie goes on, it just keeps getting sadder. I can feel Harry slightly move up to hold in his tears. I look up at him and he is sobbing. "Harry," He looks at me and makes a dramatic crying face. "You've already seen this before."
"But it's so sad! Why aren't you crying?" He pouts and a crease appears in his brow.
"Because I have seen it so many times to the point that immune to every movie in the universe." Harry raises an eyebrow and sniffs.
"Ohh reallyyy?" I nod, smirking at him when I see his eyes light up. I already know what he's going to do. He will try to find a movie that will make me cry. "I will keep that in mind." I let out a small laugh.
He can try but will miserably fail.
Once The Notebook ends, it's around 3:30. "Hey, we've been laying here for like 4 hours. Let's walk around." Harry says as he gets out from under the sheets and tries to pull me out with my arm.
"Noooo," Harry continues to tug on my arm. "I'm comfy!" Harry rolls his eyes and yanks my arm even harder.
"Get. Out. Of. Bed! We have been here for a million years, you need to stand up and get fresh air." I try to avoid his grip, but it's too strong.
"Harry, you're hurting me!" He immediately drops my arm and starts to apologize. I was just lying though, so he could let me go.
"Hey that's not fair! You can't trick me!" Harry yells and tries to drag me out of bed again as I dig dipper into the covers.
"Oh but I just did." I giggle and he throws the sheets up over my head. I screech as he lunges forward and manages to heave both of us off the bed.
"Haha, gottcha!" I roll my eyes, being a sore loser.
"Yeah whatever." He mimics me and I punch him lightly.
"Let's go outside," Harry exclaims. "You need fresh air."
He leads me out to the small deck of my hotel room. The view wasn't amazing, but it was a lot better than some other hotels. We sit outside for a bit until Harry gets a call. He listens intently to whatever the person has to say.
After he hangs up, he looks at me and says, "I have to go now. But I will see you tomorrow! I had an amazing day." I hug him goodbye and he waves as he walks out the door.
"Bye Harry!"
That night I dreamt about him. I wish I could relive today as many times as I wanted. Even though it was an emotional rollercoaster, I still felt happy the whole time. I'm excited to see him tomorrow for filming.
