Jennie was pacing back and forth, frustration written all over her face. She had tried calling Lisa multiple times, but there was no response. When she heard the sound of a car pulling into the driveway, she immediately stormed out of the room to confront Lisa.

As the door creaked open, Lisa walked in, looking slightly disoriented. She froze when she saw Jennie sitting on her bed, glaring at her. "Gosh, Jennie, you scared me," Lisa said, clutching her chest.

"Where have you been, Lieutenant?" Jennie's voice was cold, her eyes narrowing as she crossed her arms.

"I was driving the team to their mission spot, remember?" Lisa responded, trying to keep her tone calm, but Jennie wasn't buying it.

"I know that," Jennie replied sharply. "But you told me you were just driving, so why the busted lip?" she continued, pointing to Lisa's injured mouth.

Lisa hesitated, her hand instinctively reaching for her lip. "Uh..." she started, feeling her nerves settle. "One of the guys hit me. I didn't notice until later," she muttered, avoiding Jennie's piercing gaze.

"Don't 'uh' me, Lisa," Jennie snapped, standing up and walking toward her.

Lisa bit her lip. "Honey, I swear it’s nothing. I didn’t even notice until I got back."

Jennie, however, wasn't convinced. She walked out of the room, leaving Lisa standing there confused. Jennie soon returned, holding a med kit in her hand. "Sit down, now," she ordered in a serious tone.

Lisa, still not fully understanding what was happening, sat down hurriedly. Jennie gently began cleaning the wound on her lip. "Stay still," she instructed. Lisa winced as the antiseptic touched her skin, letting out a small cry of pain.

"Ahh! That hurts, honey!" she complained, holding Jennie's hand for comfort.

Jennie didn't relent. "I don't care, Lisa," she muttered, applying more pressure.

Lisa, looking up at Jennie with a playful smile despite the pain, winked. "Why don’t you just kiss me to make it better?" she teased.

Jennie raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smirk. "You still have guts to joke with me?" she asked, her voice steady.

"I'm not joking," Lisa replied, her eyes glinting with mischief. Without warning, she leaned in and kissed Jennie passionately, not caring about her busted lip.

Jennie hesitated for a second but quickly melted into the kiss, her hand finding its way to Lisa's neck. Their kiss deepened, and soon, Jennie was gently pushed back onto the bed by Lisa.

Jennie pulled back, concern in her eyes. "Are you sure your lips are okay?" she asked softly, touching Lisa's cheek.

Lisa smiled, her fingers grazing jennie's arm. "Actually, it's getting better," she said before leaning in again, capturing Jennie's lips in another kiss.

And they make love again

Morning

Jennie woke up to the sunlight streaming through the window. She blinked, taking a moment to adjust. Then, as she turned to her side, she realized Lisa was still sleeping beside her. As she tried to get up, a slight groan escaped her lips. "Awh," she murmured, feeling a bit sore.
