The paramedics came and patched them all up
Randy had stayed by the girl the whole night until the nurse had to pull him away to clean him up
"I'm sorry about your brother" Sidney says softly and she shrugs itching at the bandage covering her jawline
"You shouldn't have seen that. Him...being like that" she says slowly, trying to find the right words
"I'm sorry about your mom. I-I really didn't know. I swear" she sniffles and Sidney nods sitting beside her on the back of the ambulance
"I'm sorry about yours too" she mutters
"I was talking to the sheriff, dad ran off..they don't know where" she states with furrowed brows
Sidney stays quiet for a while before glancing over at her dad who's talking to the police
"You can stay with us for a while, alright?"
