laughter filled the wheeler residence.

y/n and holly were playing hide and seek, big grins displayed on their faces as they waited for mike to come home.

mike asked if y/n could babysit holly for a couple of hours because everyone was busy that night. mr. wheeler had a meeting, mrs. wheeler went to visit an ill friend, nancy had work, and mike was at a dnd tournament.

y/n happily said yes to babysitting the youngest wheeler, she loves spending time with holly.

as the two were playing with holly's dolls, the little blonde girl spoke.

"you know y/n," she began, "i spending time with you, you're super duper fun."

y/n smiles, "aw thank you, holly! i like spending time with you too," she kisses the girl's head and turns back to the doll.

"you are not like his past girl, you're more lovely."

y/n stops, putting the doll down and looking back at holly, "past girl?"

she nods, "yeah, the short-haired one."

"why?"

"she wasn't fun. i mean, at times she would be but most of the time she would just whine and complain about seeing my brother again," y/n slowly nods at this, she didn't know. no wonder holly liked spending time with y/n more than her own siblings.

y/n frowns, "oh, i'm sorry it was like that before," the young wheeler shrugs, "oh well, it's alright. i have you now! mike's really cool girlfriend."

y/n smiles, she thinks she's cool?

"i hope he proposes to you soon."

y/n chokes on her own spit, "w-what?" she lightly chuckles, "propose?"

holly nods, "yep! i want to have you as my sister-in-law"

y/n laughs and pats the girls head, "that sounds nice, holly. but mike and i are still in highschool. we can't get married."

"yet," she gives y/n a funny look, "but either way, holly approved!"
