Light gormians can see, talk and interact with the spirits/ghosts of dead people.
After ikor's mother died, she follows him everywhere.
Since aoki is a light gormian she sometimes interacts with ikor's mother, but she doesn't tell anyone because they will think that she is crazy and she can't tell ikor because it would devastate him(probably).
When ikor's mother wants him to do something, prevent him from doing something, advise him or even remind him something she tells aoki.
