Ragini gulps nervously..

Prabha - Haa chalo ab..

(Yeah let's go now..)

She looks at Advay who was already looking at her and pleads him with her eyes..

Ragini - O.. K..

She mumbles out feebly..

They all goes outside to perform the rituals.. Many other ladies were already gathered for the puja..

Prabha prepare a thaali and gives it to ragini..

Prabha - Yeh rahi tumhaari puja ki thaali.. Ab chalo..

(This is you puja's thaali.. Now come..)

She looks at the thaali helplessly and then at advay who was standing beside her..

As usual nothing could be deciphered from his expressions but she wasn't sure that she would be able to live for longer..

The ice demon will definitely eat her alive after the mess she had put him in..

Ragini takes  a deep breath and goes towards vat vraksh (banyan tree) with other ladies when prabha call her out..

Prabha - ek minute ruko..

(Wait a minute..)

She closes her eyes tightly

Ragini (in mind ) - now what..??

Asha - kya.. Kya hua maaji..??

(What happened maaji (mother) ??)

Prabha looks ragini up and down..

Prabha - Main janti hu ki aajkal ki ladkiyan puraane saaj shringaar m vishwaas nahi rakhti.. Par aaj toh itna bada din hai aur dekho tumne toh suhaag ki koi bhi nishaani nahi pehni.. Na sindoor laga hai, na hi mangalsutra.. Aise hi puja karogi..?? Jyada kuch nahi toh sindoor hi laga lo..

(I know that nowadays girls don't believe in old school style of dressing..but it's such a big day today and see you haven't adorned a single sign of being married.. No vermillion (sindoor) ,no maglasutra.. You will do puja like this.?? If nothing much then atleast put Sindoor..)

Ragini - S.. Sindoor....??

Ragini gets shocked at this..

Prabha - haa sindoor.. Kya hua..?? Aise kyu dekh rahi ho jaise pehli baar sindoor k baare m suna hai..

(Yes sindoor.... What happened..?? You are looking as if you have heard for the first time about sindoor  )

Ragini - Nahi.... Wo hum.. Wo..

(No.. I.. That..)

She looks at Asha helplessly..

Asha - Maaji rehne dijiye na.. Shayad Ragini ko yeh sab pasand na ho.. Aur waise bhi sabki alag alag pasand joti hai aur sabke riwaaz bhi alag hote hai..

(Maaji leave it.. Maybe Ragini doesn't like all these.. And anyways everyone have different choices and different customs..)

Prabha - Arey.. Isme pasand ki baat kaha se aa gayi.. Puja m toh suhagan ko sindoor ko lagaana hi padta hai.. Apne pati k liye itni kharab tabiyat m vrat rakh sakti hai matlab riti riwazo par bharosa toh hai na tumhe.. Phir sindoor se kya takleef  aur riwaaz chahe kisi ka bhi ho.. Sindoor toh har ek riwaaz m lagta hi hai.. Isme kya badi baat hai..
