Chapter 4 : Fun Trip

Dad pinched both of my cheeks softly. "It's still smooth~" I looked at him annoyed because my cheeks were already red and he kept pinching them. "Dad... look I'm a tomato already."

Jen laughed at my face loudly like she didn't even care if she wakes up the people sleeping on the plane.
I shushed her but she wouldn't stop until she woke mom up. "Come on Jen you woke mom up!"

"Oh oops... sorry mom-"

"It's fine dear." My mom patted Jen's head. Dad laughed in a low tone while pinching Jen's nose. "You should be thankful mommy doesn't have high blood pressure." He said. Jen pouted and crossed her arms. "Stop it daddy." He didn't stop pinching Jen's nose now which made me laugh on the inside.

"Annoying right Jen?" I smirked at her. "I'm not that annoying dear." Then dad tried to pinch my cheeks again but I immediately avoided his hand. He chuckled and stopped at last. I sighed and looked at the window beside me. The sky was bright sky blue, there were birds flying around and I can see big buildings and beautiful sceneries at the bottom. Then the quite, peaceful sleep of everyone on the plane was bothered by the sudden message from the pilot.

"We're arriving at our destination, please be prepared for landing."

"Yeyy!!" Jen jumped happily when she heard the message.
"We're already here!"

"Yes we are." My dad replied calmly and patted her head. I smiled and once again gaze the beautiful blue skies on the window. Can't wait to have a new life? Can't say that. This is temporary.

...

"Woah..." Jen looked around the house amazed.

"This is our house in Serbia." My dad proudly said, walking around the clean, modern house with pride. He touched each furniture and smelled it on his fingers which made me look at him weirdly instead of being interested like my sister. "I didn't know we had a house at this country dad."

"Oh come on dear. I used to live here, right hon?"

"Yes. But you never told me you bought a house. I thought you were living in some kind of apartment."

"This is my mom's. She gave this precious house to me after my stay so I can go back here anytime." He carried mom's luggages on the second floor. Mom followed him from behind, leaving me and my sister alone in the wide living room. "So sis.. Do you like it?"

"Like what?"

"This house! It's pretty big!!"

"Yeah.. I guess." I walked around the house. Observing every furniture I see. There was a couch, a big mat underneath it and a fireplace. There was no television which made me confused. "How are we gonna watch movies?" I sat down on the couch and rested my head, facing the white wooden ceiling. "I don't think we need television here sis.. since we already have phones right?"

I glanced at my sister and see her looking on the picture frames hanging on the walls. "Oh look! It's our grandpa!" She exclaimed.

"What?"

"Nevermind."

...

I stood up and brought my luggages on the second floor. I went in a random room and saw how beautiful it was inside so I decided to stay here. I open my luggage and arranged my clothes on the cabinet beside the bed. The room was already decorated with small plants in a pot in each corner and cute stars hanging from the ceiling. There was also a terrace where you can watch people from the outside which is really dope. Just then my sister went inside and jumped on the bed. "Dad said we'll be sharing rooms."

"Wait really?"

"Yeah because there are only two rooms here."

"Oh I see."

"Are you okay with it sis? I've always wanted to share a  room with you but you separated yourself. Now's my perfect chance!" Jen smiled at me sweetly. I chuckled and nodded at her. I don't wanna be cold towards my sister anymore. I've always been strict to her before but after I knew that mom loved us equally, I changed. I am not jealous of her nor angry at her anymore. "YEYY!"

She happily jumped up and down on the bed. I laughed at her while continuing to fold each of my clothes and arranging it to its place.

"Where's your clothes?"

"Downstairs sis. Why?"

"Go get it, I'll place it there." I pointed to another cabinet.

"Okay!" She hurriedly went downstairs and came back with her luggage fast as lightning. I chuckled and arranged her clothes in it.

...

"So... Wanna go somewhere fun?" Dad asked the three of us after arranging our things in the house. My mom and Jen said yes of course and I also did. He smiled widely, showing his teeth, patting my head and Jen's head again.

"Alright!"
