Ash POV

I just arrived in the University. I received a text message from our gc na andoon na daw silang dalawa sa Cafeteria.

Yes, we did really plan to go here in the school 30 minutes earlier before the start of the first class. Nothing special, Snow just suggested it para di daw kami ma late. We just agreed lang naman ni Jay as usual.

I already arrived here at the entrance of the cafeteria. I'm looking around to find my friends. In fairness it's too early for the others to be here but look how many the students in the canteen is.

"Ash! Ash, here!" I look around and find the voice who called me. I know that voice. It's Jay. As I look in the left side, I saw Jay waving his hands para makita ko sila. When I already saw them, I walked to them as soon as I can because I can still feel the stares of other people.

"Let's eat na?" Snow just asked.

"I'm sorry guys but I already ate breakfast in the house eh. Ya know, my parents really wanted na sabay kaming kumain especially kapag need naming bumawi." I said with a sad tone as I saw Snow's expression changed.

"I'm sorry na kasi, I told them yesterday kasi na babawi ako because I wasn't able to join in their breakfast yesterday because I was so late na nun kaya need ko talagang bumawi." Paliwanag ko naman. I don't like someone to misunderstood me especially my closest ones kaya nuh-ah talaga.

Naka simangot parin si Snow while Jay is just staring at us.

While Jay just nodded while his lips slowly curving up a bit.

"'Kay, sabi mo yan ah. No turning back. Got it?" Klaro naman ni Snow.

"Yeah.. yeah..." I assured. They now start eating their breakfast na while me is just scrolling on my soc med while glancing at my friends minutes by minutes.

I just shrugged my shoulders and just didn't thought much about it.

We're now here at our room waiting for Miss Delavin to arrive. We're just having a chitchat kasi 5 minutes ng late si Miss.

I can see the faces of my classmates went like a puppy. They composed themselves and look in front like they were ready to listen.

Miss Delavin started discussing and we're all listening until suddenly....

"Does anybody here has an idea what's a sole proprietorship?" Miss suddenly asked that made us shocked and widen our eyes.

We are all looking at each other if there's atleast one classmate of ours that will volunteer, but sadly no one is raising a hand. Almost of my classmates just bow down their heads because of the sudden question. While me? Tamang maang maangan lamang. I have an idea naman on what's she's asking but I'm kinda shy and a bit scared to answer kaya I'll just wait na tawagin lang ako.

"No one has an idea?!? For goodness sake!!! Are you even a student?! As far as I know all of you here took an ABM strand!?!"

"Did you even listen to what your previous teachers have taught you!? For you all to be informed, basic foundation is very important in this course!"

"Even if you're good in math it doesn't really help that much because basics lang ng math ang ginagamit sa Accountancy courses. What's the use of being genius in math if in this course it only needs multiplication, division, subtraction and addition!"

"It's more on analytical skills. Also, kahit marunong kang mag solve at memorize mo yung formulas, there's no use of it if you don't know the basics and understand it's concepts, rules, and exceptions. You better contemplate if you'll continue this course or not."

"For you to be informed, this course have comprehensive exam in every year end of the school year to test your learnings. You better prepare yourselves and listen to the professors who are teaching you. Again class, it's really important to understand this course." Huminto si Miss saglit bago nag salitang muli.

"And my tip for you to survive in this course is to not hesitate to ask questions to your professors or even to your classmates when you don't understand something kasi basic foundation will help you survive in this course. Habang mas maaga pa, much better build your foundation already if you wanted to finish this course. Consistency and hardwork are also important in surviving this feild." Miss Delavin just look at us one by one.

"I believe in you." Na shock naman ako when she said those words when we met our gaze'.

"Kaya class, be serious in this course because this course is very complicated. Much better if you'll love and be happy in this course even if you don't, just pretend until you'll slowly loving it if you really wanted to pursue this challenging course. It's not easy but if you really wanted to pursue this, you can survive it, just beleive in yourselves." She said.

"M-miss?" I raised my hands to answer the question earlier. Hehehe

"Yes, Miss Luxt?" Tumingin agad sya sa akin when she saw me raising my hand.

"Ahm, I just wanna answer your question earlier po Miss. I have an idea po kasi but not thorough po." I said while my head is slightly bow down.

"It's fine, let me hear your idea then." I saw her lips are slowly curving upwards.

"As what I can remember po Miss, sole proprietorship is owned and operated by a one person po." I said and immediately sat down because I felt embarrassed of my answer.

"OK." I saw her smile for a second before it went back in her expressionless face.

She just explained the concepts of sole proprietorship. In fairness she's really good at teaching, you'll really understand because she explained it in the way my classmates can easily understand. Hindi naman sa pag mamayabang but I'm a fast learner naman but I also have short-term memory. I'm still working on that part tho.
