Sora's POV

It has been a month since the Boys' Volleyball Club was established. During this time, I have assumed the role of their unofficial coach due to my retained memories as a former volleyball player.

Drawing upon my expertise as a libero, I have laid the groundwork for teaching defensive techniques and positioning. Additionally, I have delved into the intricacies of serving, setting, spiking, and blocking, imparting my knowledge to the team members. I have honed their techniques while fostering their versatility and adaptability, encouraging each player to explore different positions.

The dedication and thirst for growth exhibited by the players have been inspiring. Some have discovered their natural affinity for specific positions, while others have eagerly embraced the challenge of exploring different roles. Our practice sessions have been filled with experimentation as players have swapped places, collaborated, and fine-tuned their skills.

Despite Koji and Izumi's commitments to other clubs, they have joined our practice sessions twice weekly, demonstrating their commitment to the team.

I have decided to fully immerse myself in volleyball practice, dedicating four weekly sessions to it. This means sacrificing some of my tennis practice time. Still, surprisingly, my tennis coach has been understanding and supportive of my decision. He recognizes my passion for helping Shoyo and the other team members.

When I read the Haikyuu manga, I couldn't help but feel remorseful that Shoyo never had a "proper" volleyball team during his middle school years. As his older twin brother, I strongly desired to alter this timeline and give him the opportunity he deserved.

Now, let's focus on the present moment.

It's 4:25 PM, and our volleyball practice will commence in five minutes. Shoyo and I are making our way to the gymnasium.

While walking, an idea suddenly strikes me. I wanted to recreate the quick attack that Shoyo and Kageyama did when they went to Karasuno.

I look excitedly at Shoyo and say, "Shoyo, I have an idea!"

Curious, Shoyo raises an eyebrow and asks, "What is it, Aniki?"

"Let's try executing a quick attack," I propose, a smile spreading across my face.

"A quick attack?" Shoyo echoes, clearly intrigued.

I approach him and enthusiastically explain, "Shoyo, a quick attack is a fast and powerful offensive move in volleyball. The setter swiftly sets the ball close to the net for the spiker, like yourself, to jump and hit it before the opposing blockers can react. It demands precise timing and coordination between the setter and the spiker, catching the opponents off guard and scoring points."

Noting Shoyo's questioning expression, I continue, "It's a commonly employed strategy that can be highly effective. The quick attack allows the spiker to hit the ball at its highest point, taking advantage of the limited reaction time of the blockers. It's an exhilarating move that can turn the game's tide in our favour!"

Shoyo's eyes widen with curiosity. "That sounds cool, Aniki! I've never attempted a quick attack, but I am up for the challenge. Let's try it during practice and see how well we can execute it!"

Encouraged by Shoyo's enthusiasm, we pick up the pace and head towards the gymnasium, eager to experiment with the quick attack and infuse a new dynamic into our volleyball play.

As we arrive at the gymnasium, the familiar sound of bouncing volleyballs and the energetic chatter of the team fills the air. The atmosphere is buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming practice session.
