For the longest time it seemed like nothing would happen, so I took my leave to alleviate the dread that came with waiting for someone to appear again, but just as I was leaving, I think something happened in the woods. I heard the leaves crunching, but when I turned to look, I saw nothing but a shadow vanishing behind a tree close to where I had set up camp. That lunatic probably tried to get the drop on me while I was waiting. I'm just about fed up with him, I swear.
