[OLD & UNUPDATED] Skywatcher's Log

Both Mezurin's patrols and my own have gone well. Earlier we got caught up with each other, though I have no problem with that. I'm always happy to listen to him. He went on for near an hour about the light the crystals he's seen give off, the rays they project in the water, how he wishes all shapes had gills so they could swim through the winding underwater caves beneath Cemetris, but how at the same time he also doesn't, because then they'd be too crowded... I hope he finishes that camera he's been working on so he can show me what it's like without it breaking in the water before he can take a picture. I'm always happy to listen to him talk about the things he loves, though I also realize how lucky I am that Firefly didn't sneak up on me while he was doing so. I was perched on that branch for longer than I can imagine I'd ever want to be. He'll be so upset when he realizes he missed the chance to get the drop on me over that egg.
