The cool sand under the moon feels so much nicer than the ashen grass of Cemetris's floor. We did not even have to scavenge for wood to fashion seats from-- the sand was perfectly manageable. The fire burns much easier without flammable surfaces all around it, and the smoke is not blocked in by the dense foliage-- the air is completely fresh. It's the little things that make these little endeavors so worth our time. Or maybe it's just Mezurin.
