Mezurin says he saw the stranger early in the morning today. They weren't in danger, but he decided to leave them alone. Turns out they've made good friends with Firefly, with minimum scratching and biting from the latter, by some miracle. I'm happy they're not in danger, but I pray to whatever gods are out there that they don't become as sporadically obnoxious as Firefly. Mezurin says he may try to speak to them next they meet-- make sure they're faring well in the woods, maybe get their name so I can stop referring to them solely as "that stranger" or "that shape with the tophat." I can at least hope they give him the chance to say something before he gets an egg launched at his face.
