When two well known online streamers go missing after discovering an ancient cave, Andie's brought in to examine it. Not to find the people, no. That's of no concern to her. She's there to uncover the mysteries hidden within the walls, find the origins of the strange markings, the reasons for the scratch marks clawed into the stone.
Daniel finds missing people, it's what he does, what he is renowned for doing. What he doesn't do is argue with stubborn archaeologists about the nature of a site that should be treated as a missing person's investigation. The buried past has no impact on the lives of people now, his belief.

When graves start being dug up, skeletons found missing teeth and bones, sites of mass burials hidden too close for comfort, murders with chilling links, it turns out that the past is very much intertwined with the present.
Strange sounds in the night, marks too dark to be paint, a chilling realisation.
