I watched the battle today.

The village say I'm too young, too frail to be of any help as of yet but that didn't stop me from hiding in the bushes to watch the bloodshed.

And bloodshed there was.

The battle was painted red with the blood of my people, their limbs flung across the field like worthless weapons.

And they were.

They all said I wasn't ready to see what really happened and maybe they were right, for the wrong reason.

Because now I know that my people are weak, they are worthless and don't have the power to stand up to this power-hungry plague spreading across our lands.

The enemy is imbued with something, something magical and terrifying, and no one is able to stop them, too afraid to wield the weapon that would make them strong.

So I will do what they are too cowardly to do.

And once I've fixed this place, I'll fix the rest of the world.
