After learning that Ash's rut is right around the corner, their honeymoon plan change. First, their plan to embark on an economy class flight like ordinary people is canceled. Ash is capable of enchanting people just by breathing, perishing the thought of allowing others to see him during a rut. His rainfall of pheromones would no doubt seduce all those they come across. Absolutely unacceptable.

Moreover, Karlyle wants the rare rut pheromones of Ash for himself only. Ash once said that no one else had ever smelled them, so the desire to monopolize that special scent, once again burns like a torch in him. He’d thought he had gotten better about it, but no, not a slight bit.

In a moment, the thought that Ash would surely be horrified if he knew about this side of him crosses his mind, but Karlyle already gas an excuse for that. They are bound together by papers now, surely he can be forgiven for being a little possessive.

Next, Karlyle arranged for their transportation plans to change. Originally, they would go to the airport by their car, but they have changed it to a limousine. At Natalie's request that the honeymoon is a once in a lifetime event, they decided to decorate the limousine in colorful ribbons and flowers. Not wanting to let Ash to be seen by too many people while in his rut, Karlyle calls only Natalie and his parents to see them off at the airport.

He feels guilty for not calling Kyle, but he knows it’s the most reasonable choice. Kyle is a dominant Alpha, he will definitely react sensitively to Ash's pheromones at this time, and if he called Kyle, Nicholas would surely come with him.….Although he has made peace with  everything since it was all in the past, Karlyle doesn't want Nicholas to be around  Ash in a rut.

Finally, he puts a private jet on standby. On this long-awaited day, Karlyle has an employee take care of all the preparations. Ash likes romantic things so Karlyle wants to surprise him. He has flowers and champagne prepared in secret in the limousine, and a chef and a patissier for dinner on the private jet.

However, what Karlyle has underestimated in the process is that Ash changes a little, quite a bit, right before the rut.

"I'm sorry, Lyle. You had to go through all that trouble because of me." Ash says in the limousine heading to the airport.

"It's not hard work. Are you okay, Ash?"

Instead of answering, Ash only grins with bright eyes. After getting in the limousine, Ash has been rubbing his face on his shoulder like a cute animal. Ash has been biting his neck nonstop, so it's already blooming with marks. Ash at the very least had the good sense to act casually until they got into the car. When they were finally alone, he seemed to relax. Cutely, Ash was still quite nervous in front of Karlyle's parents.

"Uhm, I'm fine."

Ash says that, but his hands keep tugging at Karlyle’s clothes. Having been staring at Ash affectionately like looking at a baby bird, Karlyle is startled by his hands. They haven’t arrived at the hotel yet, why is Ash doing this? His plan to bring out the champagne and the bouquet of roses is put on hold due to Ash’s actions. Ash skillfully caresses his stomach, then he moves to his chest. Karlyle cautiously grabs his wrist.

“Why won’t you let me touch you, Lyle….”

Ash whispers in his ear at being impeded. Karlyle’s heart breaks at his whines. As much as he wants to let Ash do whatever he pleases, they can’t do it in the car. It’s not that he has never experienced doing inappropriate things in the car, but unlike that time, the driver is in the front. Moreover, there are events that he has prepared. His heart aches, it's such a pity that he can’t let Ash continue. He has to endure it.
