The next morning, he wakes up later than usual. After being with Ash, his sleeping time has gradually increased. There were times he woke up after 8 o'clock. Today must be the same. He checks the time. But he freezes when he sees the number 10. This is so embarrassing. It's 10 o'clock already. This is the first time he has slept this long.

"Have you woken up?"

Ash is already up and he's looking at him. Ash's sitting at the side of the bed. His two-colored eyes curl up lovingly when meeting Karlyle's eyes.

"Ash. You should have woken me up..... Sorry. I woke up too late."

"It's alright, Lyle. You were tired, weren't you? In the meantime, I have stopped by the studio to grab my phone."

Ash says, his hand wiggling the phone with a broken screen. His grayish green phone always looked neat and clean, but now it's broken. It feels like yesterday when Karlyle broke it during his intense rut a few months ago.... It's all because of him.

Not knowing what to do, he sits up. And Ash supports him as expected. His warm hands wrap around his back.

"Now I see, my husband is a sleeper." Ash says playfully.

Karlyle can't deny it. It's true that he has slept for over 12 hours. No matter how painful or sick he was, he had never slept for so long. Even if he woke up in the middle and then drifted back to sleep with Ash, it had never been that long. Has his body changed? While he's contemplating, Ash says.

"Since the hospital reservation is at 12:00, should we get ready now?"

He sounds excited. Karlyle looks at Ash in silence and smiles gently.

"All right."

Strangely, he feels more comfortable than yesterday. Yesterday, there was only vague anxiety and nervousness, but thanks to a night with Ash and the text from his mother, he has calmed down. The long and deep sleep also helps to ease his mind a lot.

As usual, Ash carefully takes him to the bathroom. He turns on the water in the bathtub and prepares a towel. While waiting for the bathtub to be ready, Ash brings some simple fruits and yogurt. Then Ash washes him. He sits in the bathtub and pours water on him. He even leaves kisses on his forehead, cheeks and neck. It feels so good that Karlyle ends up laughing. The situation is awkward and doesn't suit him at all, but how can he not laugh when Ash is this cute?

Normally, they would do it while caressing each other, but like yesterday, this activity is canceled. Kyle really only held hands with Nick while he was pregnant. Will Ash also do the same? While thinking that, they have done washing. Then they head to the hospital a little earlier than the scheduled time. Ash smiles slightly nervously, then he starts the engine.

Luther welcomes them at the door. Seeing Karlyle who came 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, his face softens he seems to be well.

"Good afternoon. Or should I say good morning? Anyway, I'm glad you came early."

"Is everything alright?"

Ash asks with a worried face, his hands rubbing Karlyle's shoulders. Luther only smiles neutrally and nods.

"Everything is fine. However, I need to borrow Young Master for a while for one last checkup. If you don't mind, can Young Master come with me for a while?"

"Please do."

Ash answers, then he cups Karlyle's cheeks and puts a kiss on his forehead. His eyes are overflowing with concern and affection.
