The next morning, Naomi woke up before Ja and Kari and decided to go for a run. The day before really had worn her out. While on her run, her mind wandered back to her conversation with ja last night.
Shrugging it off, she continued doing her lap around the track in her neighborhood. Naomi stayed in north buckhead. It was a pretty quiet neighborhood which she loved so much.
After 30 minutes she decided to return home. Unlocking the door she walked in the house taking her shoes off.
"Hiiii nai nai." Kari looked over the couch with a big bowl of captain crunch cereal in front of her.
Laughing to herself, she walked over to Nai and kissed her on the forehead. "Good morning baby girl, who made you this cereal?"
Kari laughed & turned back to hear cartoons. "Daddy put so much."
"He's a mess. I'll be back down, gonna go shower." Nai walked up the stairs to her bedroom. Walking in, she left the door cracked behind her.
She soon met eyes with Ja who was still laying up in her bed.
"Wassup mama." He got out the bed and hugged her, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her lips softly.
Kissing him back and smiled, "Well good morning."
He smiled & dat back on the bed pulling her into him. "Fuck you was with this on?" He frowned and tugged at her seamless shorts that exposed her frame.
Shaking her head, "I went on a run before y'all woke up."
He mumbled to himself, "Ima burn these bitches."
Laughing, she looked at him. "You not touching my shorts. Now what was going on last night. You act like you didn't want to tell me, so I let it go."
Ja scratched the back of his neck looking up at her. He really didn't want to talk about the situation with his baby mother but he needed to.
"Alright so yesterday Karissa texted. I guess she seen pictures with you and Kari from the event yesterday. On some shit like why Kari in pics with you like she's your baby." He stood up looking at her while Naomi's face scrunched up.
"Well I know she has a mother. Let her know I'm not trying to overstep any boundaries with her. She just wanted to be up under me at the event. It's nothing more than that." She looked at him. "If she want the pics removed or something let me know, I'll have someone handle it." She started walking towards the bathroom.
