"Victor, how could you do this to me?" the young woman asked the tall man in front of her.
The man held no expression of remorse as it was completely empty.
"Laura, give it a rest. you should know by now, our love has died long ago." he says, his eyes flickering from the teary eyed woman in front of him and to the floor.
"So you cheat on me?!" she screams, her tears finally sliding down her face.
the man looked away as he folded his lips into a thin line with a sigh of frustration, "what do you not get?! i don't love you anymore!" he yells, his change of volume making the woman flinch before her eyes softening.
"the woman i'm seeing now, she's better." he says slowly to make sure the woman in front of him would understand the fact that she was no longer dear in his heart.
the man shook his head as he began to turn around, "goodbye, laura." he says as her was already facing away from her.
"victor, I'm pregnant."
the woman's words were entirely true.
her intentions for today were far not announcing that as she didn't think victor would insist on breaking up with her.
Laura mistook her obsession for love towards victor. She was crazy, inevitability lovesick. The man in question had taken notice of this soon after they began dating.
The truth was, she was actually planning on aborting the child, but there was a change of plans.
She knew the kind of person Victor was. He took responsibility in times where he really needed to, and there was no way he would ever walk out on her knowing she would bear his child.
right, the entire purpose of this child was to make victor stay with laura.
nothing else.
