Shizuka Keomi had been through many things in her life and had been called many things. Daughter, Firstborn, Know-it-all, Protege, Sparks, Wisp, and then finally... A Traitor. She had tried to avoid this day. She had tried to avoid making that choice that Dazai had pestered her about. Then life made the choice for her when she took too long and she only managed to hurt those she was trying to protect.

She wished she had asked Dazai for his phone number that night on the docks. She wished she had played the game smarter but she couldn't help but think about the Kuta's still. Someone else would be sent to kill them. Could she risk going to protect them? Or would she be able to get to the agency in time to warn them?

She couldn't risk it. All she could think about were those three kids and their innocence. Maybe she was a little bit of a hypocrite considering she had planned to kill them herself. Or maybe she would have made a choice like Dazai always had said.

Keomi stopped and turned around, still invisible, making a decision that probably wasn't right to the mafia. But one that was right and it was about time to that she made a right decision. That she turned back to her roots an just like that like a bullet she was off.

Only moments later in that exact same spot stood Akutagawa who was looking around the city trying to find the girl. Where could she have gone so quickly? He knew that her powers amplified her speed but she shouldn't be able to get that far away from him so easily.

Keomi made her way to the pent house that the Kuta's owned her eyes trailing up the building. She could feel her powers strong in her veins. She didn't need to worry about losing her ability any time soon. But if she ended up in a stale mate she couldn't be certain how long she could protect them.

Even with all the uncertainties she moved.

She easily slingshotted up the thirty flights of stairs to the top of the building. The penthouse could only be accessed through a code on the elevator which was nothing hard. She had already found the code and it was easy to enter it in. Just as the elevator reached the floor the elevator jerked and the doors refused to open.

Still Keomi stayed silent not wanting to reveal her identity just yet. But if the mafia was already there she was wasting precious time. She summoned as many crystals as she could and blew a hole through the elevator. Even in her invisible form she could tell that someone was watching her.

She went through the hole looking around the room finding no one around. Had she been wrong about the location or had they already been killed?

"I suggest you appear Shizuka-San." Dazai's voice rang in the room as he along with the detective member and Atsushi all walked into the room.

"Not Keomi-Chan, Dazai?" Keomi spoke allowing her mirage to fade away revealing the young girl. Her eyes were battling against a pair of chocolate orbs which seemed colder than she remembered.

"I thought you didn't hurt kids Shizuka-San. Evidently, I was mistaken." Dazai spoke but Keomi couldn't help but wonder where this was coming from, "I suppose I was wrong about you."

Keomi sucked in a breath as it felt like he had punched her in the gut. She didn't know why it hurt her so much to hear him saying those words to her. But she couldn't afford to make anymore enemies today.

"Don't worry Dazai, I won't tell anyone." She let the smallest of smirks come upon her lips and a small laugh slipped through. It was Atsushi who spoke next anger laced in his voice.

"Were you really going to kill them!" Atsushi shouted at her tears welling up in his eyes, "Were you really willing to do that for your family? Because I don't think they would want you to-"
