Ruhan:

Agad akong nagtipa ng tugon. Kanina pa ang mensahe na ito at ngayon ko lang napansin kasi abala ako sa ospital. I feel so bad for the kids and the girls that I can't bear to leave them.
Bumili ako ng mga damit para may magamit sila pagka discharge nila at pagkain habang nasa ospital pa. Hospital food is not enough for them and they need fruits too to fully regain their strength.
Ako:
Okay. Love you.
Bahagyang nagulat ako sa bilis ng tugon.
Ruhan:
Who are you?
I frowned.
Me:
What are you doing?
Ruhan:
This is not my baby replying to me. Saan ang 'I' diyan? Kulang ang sinabi mo.
My shoulders drooped and I chuckled at his silliness. Akala ko anong drama na naman ito. He really has time to pinpoint that in between catching the accomplices, huh?
Ako:
I love you, Ruhan. Take care, fiancé.
Ruhan:
That's more like it.
Ako:
You are so silly. See you later, teddy bear.
Ruhan:
In a while, crocodile.
Hindi ko mapigilan ma matawa. Agad akong napatingin sa paligid dahil para akong baliw na bigla nalang tumatawa habang nakatitig sa cellphone. The agents remained silent, formal, and alert in the surroundings.
Binuksan ko rin ang mensahe mula kay Mama.
Mama:
Okay lang kami rito, anak. Enjoy na enjoy. Nakakamiss talaga ang Isla de Vista. Mamaya, roon kami sa Nayon maghapunan. Pinaghanda namin sila Flordeliza, nagpatulong ako, para may salo-salo.
Ako:
Mabuti naman po, Mama. Ingat po kayo diyan.
The land near San Juan is really on sale and we will buy it. Whosoever the owner is. Hindi pa nga lang namin nailakad dahil may ibang inaatupag pa kami ngayon.
Bumalik na kami sa Hospital pagkatapos nabili ang lahat. I ordered clothes, we bought some with us, but the rest will be sent tomorrow since I ordered a lot and it takes time to prepare it.
"Ate Ganda! Ang dami po nito."
"Maraming salamat po."
"Salamat po, Ate Ganda."
"Ang sarap po nito, Ate Ganda. Ang bait po ninyo!"
"Maraming salamat po, Ate Ganda."
I smiled at them, hearing them speaking softly, saying their warm thanks. Lumapit silang lahat sa akin kaya medyo na out of balance ako. Marion and Vicente were fast to get near me but I stopped them, letting the children come and hug me.
"Thank you, Ate Ganda."
"You are all welcome."
"Paglaki ko po, papakasalan kita." biglang sambit ng isang bata, seryoso siya. "Papakasalan po kita, Ate Ganda."
