I-I I think he's dead! I look at mom and her face is full of fear. We should hurry and get to the doc. Dad said. What about the man? He's dead. There's nothing we can do for him now. We continue walking, but I could tell, mom and Riku were scared. I had rememberd what the man had said before he died. "The end of..." What was he going to say? Was he going to say world? What did this all mean? Who was that man? Why was he there? All of these questions flooded my mind. But soon I would be answerd. By the time we got to the doc there was only one boat left, a police boat. There was someone on board. It was the body of a police officer. It looked like he had the sickness then died. Dad pushed him of the boat and helped om and Riku on. Dad ran up to the front of the boat to start it. He started the boat. Good thing it still worked, but as soon as we got on the water started to sway back and forth. And then Okinawa started to shake. The ground started to split and water was rising up until Okinawa was no more. Mom looked in fear and shock. Okinawa! Paralyzed with fear I could tell that this was really happening. Okinawa, my home, the place I was born had sank into the ocean. My friends, teachers, and Hinika! Did Hinika make it off the island? I don't know. I checked my phone. It still worked. Mom asked me to check the brodcasting station it Tokyo. I turned it on;

The day started with a huge earthquake that hit the southern part of Japan but it didn't stop there. Currently the island of Okinawa, located to the south of Japan is under water. And that's not all. Due to the earthquake a chemical gas has rision and is causing a sickness. It has infected over 1,000 people in Japan and 2.3 thousand in the US. This isn't just effecting people in Japan but all over the globe. There were reports from the US. The earthquake happend world wide. That's all we have for now.
I look to mom as she seems to have passed out from shock. And Riku is trying to wake her. My dad, in a way he looks as if he knew this would happen. But I must just be over thinking it. Now looking back apon that it may have seemed as if I were handling the situation well, but I was terrified of what the world will become.
