2 people bumped into each other Jaune still wearing his armor.

One of the conditions Jaune asked Ozpin about his re enrollment that they wear their armor at all times freaking people might try to steal it either as a prank or on ill-intent. Along with their weapons although the student body was still were nervous having 4 heavily armed men walking around the halls.

The other person is Velvet and both happy and sad to see him again

Happy that his back and Sad that he had to suffer alone

Velvet: hi Jaune. As she turns away blushing

Jaune: hi little carrot. With a smirk

Velvet turns around fully red in the face with Jaune suddenly laughing.

Jaune: still the same old bashful Velvet I know. I missed you too. Jaune said with a smile

Velvet just fidgets around then looks Jaune in the eye

Velvet: when did you become so confident.

Jaune: well when your in a war you'll tend to see stuff that makes you numb to that feeling.

Velvet's eyes widen in horror. Jaune was part of a war. When and how!?

I'll explain when we have time but we're gonna be late for our classes.

Then they went their separate ways

Jaune arrived at class and everyone starred at him, he looked around to see his squad at one of the tables near teams RWBY and PNR his eyes narrowed. Then moved to sit with them and obviously team CRDL is obviously absent due to their injuries.

Ruby simply glanced at Jaune's direction, Weiss just huffed indignantly, Blake kept her nose in her book but secretly looking at Jaune and as if he knew made eye contact with her but hard to notice since he still had his helmet on and she just looked into his visor. Yang just glared at him warning him to keep away from Ruby.

PNR was a different story. Nora just waved meekly at Jaune hoping would forgive her. Unknown to her Jaune felt she was sincere and one thing his father taught him was to trust his instincts. Ren was a ashamed to hear of Jaune exploits in Valeron City. He realized he may have lied but he had a good heart as seen by his actions. He was not like those who lied to take advantage of him and Nora. And lastly Phyrra looked down in disgust in herself for betraying a kind hearted person, her first real friend.
