Secrets

Chapter 3

I sketched in my sketchbook, making a new design as Jay watched me from over my shoulder. He then pointed to something in the design, "Oh you're right, it would make sense if it wasn't too baggy." I spoke, as I flipped my pencil around and erased the piece of clothing before redrawing it, then turned to Jay for his approval to which he nodded with a smile. I beamed in return before going back to sketching.

    "Daniel~" I turned my head hearing the sickly sweet, flirty, voice seeing none other than Yui Kim with her hands on Daniel's desk as she smiled down at him while Daniel held a very confused look.

"There she goes again." I mumbled as Jay and I watched from afar, while placing down my pencil finding this more entertaining wondering what she was going to give him next.

"I loved your performance. The song was really great." Yui complimented him with a smile while I just rolled my eyes. That line she had reused for the fifth time in just two days, it was getting old. She then took out a very expensive wallet, probably used the money from her streaming platform, holding it out to Daniel. "Danny, I thought this suited you so I bought it." She stated in a warm tone.

Daniel seemed to look at it for a moment before smiling sheepishly up at her, "Thanks but this is too much. Sorry." He spoke with a wave of his hand, seeming to be unable to accept the gift she offered out to him. She just gave him these puppy dog eyes before going back to her seat as class began.

"Failed again." I mumbled as my eyes followed her as she went to her seat before looking over at Daniel whose gaze seemed to be on her, a light blush decorating his cheeks. "Oh I think her little crush on Daniel is found out by Daniel himself." I commentated as Jay frowned looking between the two. "Oh relax, either one of them will get bored of the other. Besides, Daniel has to learn the type of person she is for himself or else we would just look like we are getting in the way of his happiness." I explained quietly, giving Jay a reassuring smile before closing my sketchbook as I sat through the class.

  I yawned once class was over, nearly falling asleep a few times. I looked over seeing Zack was still fast asleep, I looked around my desk feeling too lazy to stand up out of my seat for the moment. Picking up my pencil then throwing it at his head, he stirred a bit but didn't wake. I then looked over at Jay's pencil, grabbing it before he could take it, "Oh hush you will get it back, I'm just borrowing it." I say before throwing that at Zack's head, he stirred a little more, letting out a groan. Now annoyed, I grabbed my sketchbook before chucking that at his head.

"What the hell!?" He shouted as he shot up, glaring in my direction looking beyond furious for just a moment before blinking in confusion.

"I see someone is finally awake. Had a good nap?" I questioned with an innocent smile, placing my elbows on my desk intertwining my fingers together and resting my chin on them.

Zack rubbed the back of his head looking around his desk finding two pencils and a sketchbook, "Wait is class over?" He questioned, looking over at the board seeing the teacher gone.

"Yep." I answered as I got up from my seat to pick up Jay's pencil first tossing it to him before picking up my own pencil and the sketchbook. "You were fast asleep. You're welcome." I say as I begin to pack up my stuff.

"Did you really have to throw your whole sketchbook at my head?" Zack grumbled, his agitation growing as he rubbed the sore spot on his head.

"You weren't waking up when I threw two pencils at your head so I used the next best thing." I stated gesturing to my sketchbook as I shoved it into my backpack. "Would you rather I use my backpack?" I questioned as I slinged my backpack over my shoulder, giggling as Zack visibly flinched.

"No thank you." He grumbled before stretching his arms out before standing up, grabbing his bag as he went. He then looked over at Daniel, seeing he was distracted following his gaze to where Yui and a couple other girls were chatting. "Earth to Daniel." Zack spoke, waving his hand in front of Daniel's face, gaining his attention. "Come on, let's go."
