I sat in the cafeteria, snacking on my lunch, as I sat next to Daniel while Zack sat on the other side being fed by Mira. "Daniel!" I jumped a bit looking up as Vasco slammed his hands on the table practically beaming in excitement as he looked at Daniel, "I heard you are raising five retrievers is that true?" He asked excitedly.

Daniel stopped bringing food up to his mouth as he looked up at Vasco, "Um? Yeah. Not retrievers, they are mixed." He corrected as Zack was asking Mira to give him a massage while she questioned when he would be getting his casts off his arms.

"So what if they're mixed?" Vasco spoke with a shrug, still grinning ear to ear. "I love dogs! I have a retriever on my phone!" He beamed, showing the wallpaper on his phone, which was indeed a golden retriever. I smiled to myself, knowing giving him the golden retriever key chain was a great idea. "Can I come over to see them Daniel!?!" He questioned, if he was a child he would be jumping up and down in excitement. Jace was watching the interaction from not too far away, a gentle smile on his features.

"Huh? Sorry, their mom is still sensitive." Daniel replied with a small smile, while I took a bite of my food as I watched everything go down.

Vasco lowered his head as a frown adorned his features, "Oh really, fine." He replied with a saddened look.

"I have a dog too." Vasco instantly perked up, even Jace perked up a bit too as they both turned their heads. I looked past them, my interest immediately plummeting as I realized who it was, recognizing the attempted Vasco haircut on the acene boy's head. "A golden retriever." He added, placing his hands in front of him. I rolled my eyes, he always lies about everything, not to mention he tries to get attention in stupid ways. "Wanna see it? Right now it's at the vet. But I'll pick it up today."

Poor Vasco couldn't even tell he's lying as he nodded in excitement, beaming happily. Until Jace stepped in, "Wait! Vasco." Jace walked closer to Vasco now not standing on the sidelines. "You're in our debt, right? Taejoon Park, the liar." Jace questioned as he titled his head a bit. "Do you know how big a golden retriever is?" Jace questioned as he slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Like a ... chihuahua?" Taejoon replied, clearly having no idea about anything on dogs, much less a golden retriever.

Jace sighed as he draped his across Vasco's shoulders, leading him away, tapping his chest with his hands, "Let's go, Vasco. Don't listen to him."

"Don't be rude to fools. I'm one too." Vasco replied to Jace as his best friend guided him further away from the table.

"He's not really a fool anyway." Jace responded, a sheepish smile on his features.

"Hey Vasco!" I call out, causing them two to stop. "I have to get my staples out today, but later you can stop by to see Lola if you want. Jace you can come over too." I told him with a smile, seeing his sullen look brighten like a kid during christmas.

"Really!?" He questioned as he left Jace running right up to me, a bright smile brightening his features.

"Of course just give me a call. I'll make some dinner for us too." I told the two of them while Vasco nodded, agreeing to come over before running to Jace completely ecstatic. I smiled warmly towards the two as they walked off towards the Burn Knuckles table.

"Are you getting your staples removed today?" Daniel questioned, taking a bite of his meal as he looked in my direction.

"Hm? Oh yep! It's still going to be sensitive for a week but I should be good to go." I say, touching the area gently, feeling the cold metal just a little. Although my hair covered it well, it was a bit annoying to clean. One tug of my hair would have reopened the wound, at one point I got so frustrated I asked Goo for help, since Gun was busy. I just wore a bathing suit and sat in the tub as he washed my hair. "I think I might skip school tomorrow though." I stated as a plan slowly began to form in my mind.
