"I can't believe it's been nearly a year of us being together."
It was New Year's Eve and the two were on holiday in Canada in a resort for New Years and their one-year anniversary.
"It's mental," he said as Alina played with his hand, "but I'm glad it happened." Alina smiled as she looked up at him.
"Me too," she said smiling. She leaned up and kissed him before checking her watch. "Oh, we only have a few seconds!" she said, standing up and grabbing his hand. "Come on!" Charles chuckled as he got up and followed his girlfriend to the outside of their cabin and they looked at the sky.
The second the fireworks went off, Charles leaned down and kissed Alina. She smiled into the kiss before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him harder. Charles wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer.
"Happy one year mi amour," Charles said against her lips.
"Happy one year my love," she said back before kissing him.
