Now that he wasn't slung over the Mere's shoulders he took in the path from the room he had been trapped in as best as he could. It was difficult with the maze of wide corridors lining the walls every few feet or so, but he had somewhat of a decent idea on how to get back – at least he hoped so – if this was all a trap and he needed to run. While there was hope inside of him that Hoseok really was here, Jimin also wasn't a fool and was prepared to do whatever he had to in case this was a cruel joke that the crew of this ship was doing to him. But as they stopped before a solid oak door with gold filigree and bits of colorful coral something inside of him that he hadn't felt in years ignited in his chest. At first it was faint, so small that he didn't recognize what it was until it grew larger with every passing second that they stood there and he had no choice but to clutch at his chest and gulp in deep lungful's of air. It sent him nearly crashing into the Mere that was chauffeuring him and surprisingly the other steadied him while giving him a look that Jimin couldn't explain before he was turning the handle with his tattooed fingers and he was being pushed inside.

This time he really did fall to his knees on the ground, his heart rate going faster then it had ever been in his entire life and as he was about to fully collapse from the sudden pain flaring from his chest all the way down to his extremities a series of clicks and chirps filled the air and someone was pulling him against their body.

Hoseok didn't know what to do. He was in such a state of distress that all he could do was chirp madly as tears rolled down his face and allow himself to be comforted by Namjoon and Taehyung who were doing the best that they could to make him feel better. Kisses weren't working. Hugs weren't either. And in all he felt like the worse person in the entire world for hurting his soul mate as he had. For harming him for all of these years.

He should have kept searching when there had been no sign of Jimin being there. He should have dove into the water and seen if he could find any bones that had his scent still lingering. He should –

The door was opening behind him and he froze...

When had Jungkook left the room?

When had he gone to retrieve Jimin?

Before he could even begin to force his brain into asking these questions Jimin began to crumple to floor and seize in a way that terrified him out of his mind. His panic stopped. The world stopped. His heart threatened to as the bond that they shared with each other bloomed to full force for the first time in a decade and suddenly pain unlike he had ever felt shot through his very core and he was moving before anyone could even question what he was doing.

It was all instinct. He just knew that he needed to be with Jimin and that nothing was going to stand in his way to get to him.

Namjoon and Taehyung didn't hesitate to back off and release themselves from his body as he caught his soul mate before he could fully hit the ground. It was like everything fell into slow motion after that as he clicked and chirped wildly, telling the others to help. To do something. Anything. To not let him die. To save him. As tears fell heavily down his face because he knew what was happening. He knew what Jimin was going through just from the way he shook and convulsed.

His heart was giving out due to the magic of their bond.

His relationship with the others was catching up with him now that the they were all in the same room together at the same time. It was the surest and quickest way in the world to harm or even kill one of their kind and a human would be even more vulnerable to this type of magic. "I didn't know!" Jungkook was panicking. "I didn't know this would happen!" This was all being said in their native tongue as Yoongi barked things to him off to the side, shouting at him and asking what in the world was he thinking. "I'm sorry! I didn't –"

All of the noise and commotion came to a halt as Seokjin – as always – took charge and with a loud growl scooped up Jimin and without another sound of word walked out of the room even as Hoseok began to hyperventilate in fear due to the human being taken from his arms once again. It was such a strong reaction in fact that he could only sit there silently, numb, and unable to move or even blink as he stared at the closed door and wondered what in the world he was going to do....
