Buffy woke up from her coma to find a heartbroken Willow at her bedside.
"You did this to me!" Buffy said to Willow. "You used a spell that turned me into a vampire!"
"Buffy, I'm so sorry," Willow tried to apologize, "I was trying to bring you back when it went awry."
"Leave Willow! I don't ever want to see you! We are no longer friends!" Buffy told her as Willow heartbreakingly left Buffy's hospital room.
As soon as she left, she smiled slyly, "That ought to make those stupid Scoobies that it was all Willow's fault turning me? Kralik will be pleased!"
With renewed powers, Buffy snuck out of the hospital without being noticed.
Then Willow, woke from her dream feeling sorry for herself after Buffy's rejection before Buffy's kidnapping and went back to her apartment where she summoned the dark witch, where she asked for a favor from her, as she felt the effects of the favor being granted, Dark Willow emerged, and wanted revenge on Buffy for her betrayal!
