Anand and harsh comes on stage with mic.

Harshvardhan announces- good evening everyone...aap sabhi aaj yaha aaye...we are eternally thankful...aaj ka occasion bohot hi important aur special hai...aaj hamare ghar ke bete ki shadi ka reception hai...we all are glad that u graced us with your presence and blessed the beautiful couple...dr abhimanyu birla and his lovely wife mrs akshara birla

All claps.

Anand- dr abhimanyu birla...aap sab ka colleague...kisi ka mentor toh kisi ka student...but for us...he is all heart...mere saamne paida hua...mere samne bada hua...mere saamne doctor banne ka sapna dekha aur mere hi saamne us sapne ko sakaar kiya...and now look...he is married...waqt bohot jaldi nikal jata hai...all i have to say is jitne acche doctor tum ho utne hi acche pati bhi banna...god bless u my son...and akshara welcome home beta (raises a toast) cheers to their happy married life

Neil gets two glasses of drink for abhimanyu and akshara and gives them. All raise a toast. Abhimanyu too cheers.

Akshara whispers to abhimanyu- abhi...main drink nahi karti

Abhimanyu whispers back- main bhi nahi karta (points the glass in her hand) ye peene ke liye nahi cheers karne ke liye hai

Akshara nods and cheers too.

Mahima raises a toast- abhimanyu and akshara...may u have all the happiness and live together...love u both...cheers

Harsh- cheers to the new life

Mahima looks at manjiri- manjiri...now its your turn...chalo

Manjiri hesitates- main kaise didi....

Mahima interrupts- are kyo nahi...tum maa ho Abhimanyu ki...come on

Abhimanyu also signs manjiri to speak. Neil gives mic to manjiri who looks at harsh being afraid. Harsh gets angry but he doesn't want to create a scene.

Manjiri- har maa ka sapna hota hai ki uske bete ki shadi ho...vo dulha bane...maine bhi ye sapna dekha tha...par sach kahu na toh mujhe kabhi laga nahi tha ki is janam me mera ye sapna pura hoga (all laugh and abhimanyu gets irritated) ab is chidku aur gusse wale doctor se kaun shadi karega...aur ise bhi shadi karni hi nahi thi...jab bhi main baat karti ye taal deta...lekin vo kehte hai na kismat ka likha koi badal nahi sakta...mere bete ki kismat me likha tha ki ek din uski zindagi me ek aisi ladki aayegi jo uski puri zindagi badal degi...aur vo hua...akshu ne mere bete ko badal diya...mere bete ko pyaar karna sikha diya...main hamesha se ek beti chahti thi...par mere do bete hai...lekin ab main khush hu kyoki agar beti hoti toh vo vida hokar chali jati par akshu mere sath hamesha rahegi...meri beti bankar...tum dono sath khush raho...sath raho mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye

Abhimanyu and akshara smile while everyone claps.

Anand- and now i would like to call the man of the evening to address on this special evening...let's welcome doctor abhimanyu birla

All claps. Abhimanyu is surprised but goes on stage as everyone looks at him. Anand gives him mic signing to say something. Anand goes off the stage.

Abhimanyu- good evening all...aap sabhi ko dil se shukriya aaj mere aur akshara ke itne special day par hame blessings dene ke liye...yaha bohot log aise hai jinse maine seekha hai...kuch log aise hai jinhe maine sikhaya hai...many of them being my colleagues...i truly thank them...meri team who is always supporting me and helping me do my job better...thankyou...ye sab log jante hai ki bhale hi maine top medical college me padhai kyo naa ki ho lekin my first mentor is always my tauji (all birlas smile as they know anand holds a very special place in Abhimanyu's life) he has always supported me...mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai meri first independent surgery thi aur unhone mujhe all the best wish nahi kiya balki warning di thi ki agar maine ot me ek bhi surgical tool idhar udhar kiya toh mujhe job se nikaal denge...surgery ke baad maine jab unse pucha ki aapne mujhe aashirwaad kyo nahi diya toh unhone mujhse kaha ki unhe patient ki chinta nahi thi ot ki chinta thi kyoki he trusts me ki main unka aur birla hospital ka naam kharab nahi karunga...aur aaj tak yahi trust mujh par rakhne ke liye thankyou...main hamesha kehta tha ki mujhe aap jaisa doctor banna hai aur tauji return me kehte the ki abhimanyu tujhe meri tarah ek handsome doctor banna hai (anand and everyone laughs) dekh lijiye tauji doctor ka pata nahi par handsome main aapse zyada hu (all laugh) aur taiji aap janti hai main aapse bohot pyaar karta hu and its ok agar aapke husband ke baal ud gaye aapke is handsome bhatije ke baal sahi salamat hai (anand glares abhimanyu while all laugh including mahima) maine pehle bhi kaha hai ki har doctor ki pehli doctor uski maa hoti hai...aur main meri pehli doctor ke bina kuch nahi hu...maa mera sath dene ke liye thankyou...neil thanks for being my constant support and now a new addition to the family...akshara...sab apne partners ko kehte honge ki vo unka pyaar hai...support system hai par akshara tum mera sukoon ho...tumhara sath mere andar chal rahi saari ladaaiyo ko khatam kar deta hai...tumhari aawaz me ek alag hi jaadu hai...jis sukoon ki talash me main itne saal bhatakta raha vo mujhe tumse mila...meri life me aane ke liye thankyou...welcome to my family and home mrs akshara abhimanyu birla
